The last time I was in a Waymo I had trouble getting my seat belt buckled too. It's an annoying requirement considering it's not required by Arizona law.

@@joemopa No. The cameras are always recording. The microphones are shut off. Only if you are connected to rider support they are activated.The inside cameras are mainly for protection against vandalism and so that nobody touches the controls.
I live in south Phoenix and have taken Waymo twice. I'd much rather go in Waymo-sketchy Uber and Lyft around here if I'm trying to get to/from the airport! And sorry Mom, the drivers here in the greater Phoenix area are AWFUL- red light runners are so scary! Doesn't matter where I am in the greater Phoenix area, they just have nicer/more expensive cars in Scottsdale to drive like idiots.

Waymo is currently cheaper than Lyft or Uber or a taxi, and you cannot even leave it a tip. So, no tipping at all.
