- Union Budget 2019-20 is the first budget presentation by the Modi government after returning to power for a second term after winning Lok Sabha Polls 2019, with a massive mandate.
After this budget speech, I am deeply shocked and happy too. Because I thought she was a mere puppet in the cabinet but to my utter foolishness, she is gem of the modi cabinet. After watching her speech, I am like wow she is super fluent and talented lady. Huge respect mam. God bless many more years to you so you can keep inspiring millions of Indian women who think they cant be at par to male society in terms of fluency and talent.
Btw I still remember my hilarious pick from her speech,
A mould of rice harvested from a small paddy field is enough for an elephant to eat.
But what if elephant it self enter in field and start eating, it will eat far lesser than it will trample more .
God what a witty way to attack on opposition without naming their first or last name ... ;)

I completely appreciate madam Nirmala Sitharaman for giving her budget in English...and in a proper way..perfect person for finance.
I have tremendous respect for Nirmala Sitharaman. She is multilingual - speaks English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. She stands as an example for service, integrity and hard work. Great job, madam, and wish you all the best.

When I, a man from hardcore Hindi belt of India, don't have any problem with either of language Tamil, English, Hindi, etc being used in the budget speech than why am I seeing cry babies barbing about budget speech shall be presented in Hindi fully. WHY SHALL BUDGET BE PRESENTED IN HINDI FULLY? WHAT ABOUT 35 CRORES OF PEOPLE WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND HINDI? Grow up people from your small naive box of thinking and perspective. You must instead feel proud that India has so many SCHEDULED languages 22 to be precise.
You people need to understand THIS FACT. India is the most vibrant of all nations in the world. You must be proud of this fact. Hindi, Urdu, Telugu, Tamil, Sanskrit, how does this even matters. 74% of population speak Indo-Aryan Languages and 26% speak Dravidian Languages who don't particularly understand HINDI. GROW UP PEOPLE. SCALE UP YOUR LOP SIDED MENTALITY IF YOU ALL WANT INDIA TO BE GOLDEN EAGLE ONCE AGAIN. Also, CASTEISM IS REALLY LOATHSOME. GROW UP PEOPLE FROM 21ST CENTURY.

Appreciating the way of delivery of budget speech.. A huge respect for u Ma'am.. At the same time this is the "Bakwasest", dull and Data full, studious and so on.. No mention of unemployment, providing Job to youths..i feel pity, frustrated for ourselves that this kind of government is ruling us.. Who can't even reckon that unemployment is the issue.. One more thing not in our control is over population (Hindu population has decreased) due to which even though the job opportunities exist, there are more people applying for the same. Hence people out of job is more. We need to pressurize government for population control bill immediately else this job problem will not go away.
Few years back I had suggested my friends during lay-off to join as teachers or faculties in their related fields so that when job opportunities did start coming, they would still have valid experience + income + there wouldn't be any career gaps.
Simran , do u know how many faculties are out of job. When there is no jobs then admission of students in colleges decreases, college management are not able to pay salary to faculties and hence even there many jobs are cut.

The item you are thinking of is a vulgar desi colloquial! It is exclusively used in the Indian film industry. This vulgar meaning of the word does not exist in the English language! It's just arised due to Bollywood equating women to items to be used for the audience's pleasure!

They are providing good hope but without reducing corruption significantly ( tripling or 5x the rate at which it is reducing in India fo past 5 decades ) is required. Please go through the video again.. and pay attention to the part where she speaks about investments (domestic and foreign) especially in MSMEs, issues regarding start ups, connectivity, taxation, skilling etc..
