Yo Dennis, So a Guitar player calls a box shuffle , got a drummer, bass, keyboard and You , or ME,LOL, and we just do something like this and it will work?

Herb Levin - drummer will need to know it’s a shuffle, guitar & bassist will want to know it’s a box pattern, and as long as everyone can follow the 12-bar blues progression and knows the correct key then Yes! This tracks from the V (five) chord but you can also just start from the top (the I/one chord) if you want.
