Herb Levin - drummer will need to know it’s a shuffle, guitar & bassist will want to know it’s a box pattern, and as long as everyone can follow the 12-bar blues progression and knows the correct key then Yes! This tracks from the V (five) chord but you can also just start from the top (the I/one chord) if you want.
