    After 300,000km of off road adventure riding I have tried all of the hard bags ,top boxes,tail bags on twelve different motorcycles from 400 to 1250cc.You may want to try your design out.
    Hard cases,pannier bags,don't work on an adventure bike.
    They can bend the rear sub frame in a minor tip over.
    I gravitated to hard bags for security in the beginning an found out the don't work.

    Alu panniers look cool, but make the bike ride like a boat. I borrowed a set for a weekend trip to try them out, I’m happy I did that because it made it an easy decision to stay away from them.

    • @hey_pauly
      @hey_pauly  14 днів тому +1

      if u riding solo, wont need side panniers.. but then its removable, use it whenever it’s needed 🙌🏻 thanks for sharing

    so damn gorgeous! nicely setup! congrats bro!! Does the hand rest for pillion come together or its a custom add on Pauly?

    • @hey_pauly
      @hey_pauly  5 днів тому

      thanks buddy, it does not come standard. Was looking for ways to provide some comfort for pillion for long distance.
      It’s useful whenever pillion needs to feel safer when lowering down the armrest 😁

      That's actually a nice idea, safer for the backride. I'm assuming it's removable?

    • @hey_pauly
      @hey_pauly  10 днів тому

      @@otomorim pillion does feel safer, if there's no mishaps. It's definitely removable with a couple of screws.. And it's adjustable. It's not expensive, can always give it a try. I use it sometimes to place my helmet on the pillion side to avoid it from dropping with the help of the arm rest. ☺️

      @@hey_pauly Great thx...found the pressure unit but can you link the arm rest pls? and have you done anything to the suspension in the rear being able to load those panniers and to even carry a passenger with you?

    • @hey_pauly
      @hey_pauly  21 день тому

      great u found them.. try google and look under the shopping section , try aliexpress. there’s plenty of universal armrest, just see which one fits your usage.
      as for rear suspension, i think u need to adjust the rear preload (clockwise), im going to test it out in a few days time when im actually going for a short trip

      Don’t you just love it when people highlight the absence of education in their lives where or when common courtesy is ignored and replaced by ill thought out instructions.
      Who has the right to say that any bike, setting off on a round the world journey for instance cannot look as though it has been thoroughly prepared before embarking on what could very well be an epic journey?
      Some take great pride in making sure their lives are in good order, they even dress their boots with the appropriate oils or polish.
      Why has it become popular to criticise rather than compliment?
      May it describe a shallow personality?
