I'm 73 and I'm a retired fabricator. Made a lot of duplicates, replacement parts and one hell of a lot of one of a kind art. I have a creativity process. I can not conceive a society that can lose its individual's creativity process and not even have rumors of existence of people like da Vinci; with us not needing to know what we don't need to know in the world of AI! Then we become artificial And inconsequential! Make and support makers. Peace
What I would like to see is a mass of makers touring EVERY High School and informing the young people about the trades they can consider for their future. As a kid in high school, I had never heard of most of the trades represented by the Makers in this challenge. I avoided most of it because my Dad was a grunt in the oilfield and I KNEW I did not want that kind of future. Since you have gone almost totally into "commercials" in your videos you may not read this but I respect your genius and talent. I hope you do read this one.
Thank you for sharing your idea. I do share products I like on my channel but have not done a sponsored brand commercial in five years. So when you say I have e gone Comercial, I am trying to understand what you mean.
@@izzyswan I meant that your content is usually about some product you;re selling. I've watched you for many years and have seen you build a load of creations of your design. Lately there has been a lot of items that you are selling, Great products that I would be proud to own if I had a need but these days they are items you have designed and built at some point but are now making and selling. I am NOT opposed to them in any way but ... Your build content has suffered a lot.
This event is going to be LIFE CHANGING! We are proud and blessed to be a part of the MUC. Can't wait to see how it turns out...amazing job Izzy!

First off, which I obviously missed , CONGRATULATIONS ON GETTING MARRIED!!
This is something I would love to do!! However being a disabled retired firefighter I am on a seriously small budget. Takes me months to save up for power tools to work in the shop with hopes of becoming a content creator like yourself. Plus just working on projects help me deal with PTSD. While I support and watch all your videos and others who I watch who go that is all I can contribute to you all for keeping dreams alive for others.

Hey Izzy, how does one become successful with processing lumber and making tools? I don't have work or I'm constantly doing odd jobs or I'm constantly sick from over working my body. If you have any pointers I'd like some tips if possible.
