I literally just checked your channel to see if you posted a new video, then I got the notification for this one! The s24+ is the best phone of 2024 in my opinion, I'm waiting for the s25 though 😊
Great to see a review taking into account how the device fares semi-long term. Still using the Note 20 Ultra since launch and can't live without the MST payment feature, honestly such a lifesaver in those niche scenarios. It's a shame subsequent international variant devices are missing this, especially in the UK.
@hoyoungwon Yeah, had to get the battery replaced a few months ago but it's still going strong. I believe it's still getting security software support, albeit at a reduced capacity.
7:20 Hi Ho Young, I just wanted to let you know that Samsung's latest One UI update allows users to use the 9-band EQ (7-band for the speaker) for the built-in speaker, so it's definitely worth checking out. It really brought out the bass and mids of the speaker when I tweaked the EQ settings. Try it out for yourself.
@@hoyoungwonHere are my personal EQ settings, from left to right. These settings slightly diminish the loudness but make the sound fuller, similar to that of an iPhone. +10, +5, 0, -5, 0, +5, +10
Came at a perfect time. Ive been looking at this phone specifically as an upgrade to my decrepit iphone xs and i have been wondering whether or not to wait for the s25. Not nearly enough content about it. I think its a cop for me
07:20 Agreed. Speakers sound very tinny compared to iPhones, but even to last year's S23 series. Even the base model has more bass. Very disappointed about such unnecessary downgrade. Also the screen's glass does get scratched very easily, but that's since S23.
I have a 13 pro max I am in the same boat. I think the s24+unless you want the s pen - and very slightly larger screen. I just can’t justify 1299 for a spen I will never use.
1️⃣45W is pretty nice, using 25W on my 13 Pro and 33W on my Nothing Phone(1). 2️⃣S24+ has the nicest Galaxy design. It would be better with a Snapdragon in every country. Also, this year SD 8 Gen 3 seems not be as efficient as SD 8 Gen 2...🤔. 📌Good phone anyway with rounded corners, OneUi.
Does anyone know how to fix the camera quality issues? I traded in my iphone 12 pro max and the s24+ pictures are so soft and grainy. Im kinda bummed. Photo looks amazing in the view finder but once its saved it looks like crap
Thanks for the useful content.. I'm thinking of buying Xiaomi 14T Pro instead, do you think it would be a good choice? Especially in terms of speaker quality
I use both (but the standard version), got a few likes & dislikes compared to iphone. When it comes to recording stuff, I always go with my iphone (video + sound quality just better) but when it comes to work chats & youtube, I will always go with my android. It probably just me but to this day I haven’t found out how to make youtube screen small while I access other apps, usually it just got thrown into the island and it sucks
Bhai... January 2025 me S25 aa raha hai...wait karlo...at least Snapdragon 8 Gen4 milega Gaming & Battery efficient... S24+ india me Exynos 2400 -aata hai processor is good but not excellent like 8 Gen4.... Main bhi wait kar raha hun....😅

hmm i thought S.Korea was getting the snapdragon version, thats strange home country is getting the exynos..so maybe samsung has some great software optimization in the future for the exynos...and tbh exynos takes better pics and videos then the snapdragon
It has the worst camera sensors at this price. Samsung needs to change all the creepy sensors used in S24 and S24+ They are backdated and cant fight toe to toe with pixel, Xiaomi or Apple

snapdragon
a better looking design

This is one of the best video ive seen yet about this.
This colour looks damn good. We only get purple and onyx black which is my favourite.
Man your homescreen setup looks so clean
The speakers were terrible but the update has totally transformed them! Use bass booster on the equaliser ('sound quality and effects' in settings)
Great video man, could you show us a tutorial on how you set up your homescreen?

It's not an EQ issue, speakers themselves lack on low frequencies (bass)

wait for s25 plus
Not if you're a camera person, other than that YES absolutely beautiful phone in most every single way.
Snapdragon 8 Elite will be huge for the S25 series. I will wait.
How are you doing with the battery?

Ikr, it's so hard using Samsung cameras after having an iPhone or pixel 😢 idk why they won't FIX this issue!?
Help me decide whether to go for S24+ for 65k or 770USD, wait for S25, which might come with elite, or just go for this.

Samsung has committed to give 7 year OS update with S24+, but not sure if the Exynos is capable enough to deliver it.
