Living under the freeways is another ticking time bomb like what happened in the LA underpass.

Fresno freeways used to have homeless camps on the sides. The city got money from Sacramento to buy old motels and hotels and convert to homeless housing. They said they have taken about 3,000 off the streets and freeways. Hasn't solved the problem completely, but at least they are no longer living on the freeways. The police said the ones who want off the street have moved to the new housing and surprisingly are not causing any problems. But the drug addicts are another matter, they refuse to leave the streets because they can't do drugs in the new housing.
