Hope you alll had a great weekend! We spent Saturday filming at a 4WD expo and Sunday filmed at a charity car show at Watsons bay!
Now we thought the Route 66 video was going to be one video but….it’s over 8 hours worth of footage!!!! 😱

21:34 is actually a hotted up Austin/Rover Metro it was meant to replace the mini but also never did but ended up being produced at same time! (You can see it later in your video at 28:33 and the last car of the Group b Rally bit of your video)
That model was also part of group B rally
I love the Fiat Lombardi 850 as much as I did when they were released - especially in red or lime green - I don't think they look weird at all.
1:49 Jay Leno has an Hoffman which is a "Seedster 2cv" so to speak but not sure that one is an Hoffman... Either way they were a separate production... I believe like the Myers manx buggy...
Havet been to the Lane in a few years even though I live close by, I need to take my son down there and spent the day with him checking out some of the new stuff. WastelandFirebird looks like a combo between Woody Harrilson and Jason Ringenberg...love the shirt!

28:51 Yes it is a Tatra, V8 air cooled!! And the burgundy next to it or behind you is the latest version of it and designed by Italian design company too... Also V8 and rear wheel drive!
However the earlier one were aerodynamically perfect too!

Seriously for a Museum specialising in "weird" cars, there were far to few Citroën's there, no Acadiane, no Traction Avant, no Bijou, no Méhari, GS Birotor, I could name more, perhaps i'm just adding to the Lane museum's list of vehicles to acquire?
So I guess the "Conservatoire Citroën & DS" and "Musee de l'Aventure Peugeot" are on the bucket list?
They could all be in the basement. You can check the basement out on the weekends!

22:41 Sadly Europeans don't get 3 months off... Or at least Italains don't... Germans can get 3 weeks paid leave to go to a "Sanitorium" type place and at government costs but I don't think any Europeans have that... Also one can't accumulate their holidays like we do here...
As a child in school we used to get the whole summer off and it was fantasict... Minus the "Holiday homework" but it was... Here in Australia you get them through out the year but summer holidays are only just over a month...

theres not a lot of value, you knoi - information in this video but i realy like your personality. i think if you'd prepare more and had more to say about what you see then your content would be a lot better
Alpina is a BMW tuning thing. Alpine - now part of Renault and their face of formula one and their history of rallying - that the French do so well - is actually not pronounced as you would think, as in mountains. It is pronounced Al - peen, not pine. Also does well in Hyper cars and LeMans. The car you are looking at is the retro of its awesome rallying car. New being released as is a new Renault 5 you were just flashbacking to about rear engine. Electric and fast. Cute . Just have to move your fingers and look at the French website as well as Peugeot and Citroen and see what the US is missing/missed, and what the world is not. !
