Hello Birdo Gang! Thank you so much for watching! We have more Route 66 videos coming! Next week we’ll be going to South Australia to spend time with family!
I am enjoying this trip along Route 66 the interesting places and people along the way and l seen that concrete arch and now l know what that arch represents educational and interesting at the same time
In a moment of profound unintentional meta, Mad Skelli describes the physical attributes of the chipmunk without realising that she is, in fact, also describing herself ! This was a great little mini-documentary, well filmed/edited and narrated; fun to see Mr.Firebird harmoniously and philosophically interacting within the settings of his natural habitat. Looking forward to the rest of the Route 66 series 👍
2:24 You've picked the Italian one LOL If I am to translate back to English it says "Travel notes" hope that is the one lol... I do seem to hear of a few Italians famous people who have done route 66... It then says something about "now you can go on a trip/excursion" (Adesso fai un'escursione)... on the "middle right corner"
I wonder if it makes sense to do Route 66 or if it would feel counter intuitive...? The main reason being that WHEN I drive on it I'd like to buy a car and California being a good state to buy a car (Preferably a land yacht), would be better to buy there rather than Chicago or even New York (NY being a must visit for me)
@@WastelandFirebird I thought it was cheaper to buy and then sell at a dealer, but with renting one doesn't have to worry about breaking down... More thinking to do lol
Toyota MR-2, Nissan NS-X, Honda CR-X, Cordia Turbo, Subaru Vortex turbo AWD, Ford Laser TX-3 Turbo AWD - goodness knows how many hot hatches - Fiat X1-9, Lotus Elan it was based on ?????
18:35 I think though people are slightly angrier now than in the 20th century because corporations ahve more power and way more influence on government that people feel they can't fulfuil their dreams as much as they used to... I'll just conclude this comment by saying that I'd love to see USA one day and "when I see it" lol
You are a gentleman and a scholar, sir.
When I was about ten years old, we went to South Perth Zoo. There were Chipmunks running free around the zoo and I fell in love. They're way too cute!
Fun fact ,the Holden H Q ute was badged as a Chevrolet El Camino in South Africa.

Another fantastic piece. Great to hear see the history of Route 66 from the source on the ground along the great highway
Glad to have you watching even though it's not about Australia this time :-D
It's given me a great appreciation of 'outback' US. Given me an inspiration to do this trip in 2026.
@@WastelandFirebird i love ya American tours. I see our stuff everyday. Great to see hear about your home country bro

Is route 66, where the musical highway thingy is ?
Yes, but somehow we missed it.
@@madskelli lol 😂 - well you will have to go back and do it all again !!
Oh we will. We will be back in 2026 and probably 2025 too. It was that good.

Fly to NYC, rent a car one-way to LA with unlimited miles, go to Chicago, then Route 66 to LA!
