Parkinson's Respite Care Grant Program

Caring for a loved one with Parkinson’s Disease can be demanding. It can sometimes leave the care partner stressed and exhausted.
Our new grant program is an attempt to provide a small, needed break or “respite” for our care partners. Grants are limited to one grant per family, per year.
Parkinson Network of Mt Diablo (PNMD) has made arrangements with approved service agencies that provide in-home respite care, They are licensed and insured, and they have trained staff to provide in-home respite care. By subsidizing the cost of care, grant awards will provide the care partner with the opportunity to arrange for individually-tailored respite care.
