Thanks for the review. You guys are doing a great job. I just bought this boot and am super stoked. Pairing this with Mega Merc 157 and Union Falcor. One more important advantage of this boot is that the toe box is surprisingly wide and the traditional laces don't squeeze the wider foot like other boots do and are really comfortable. The Boa only cranks the tightness near the ankle to avoid the heel lift. I was able to size down from 10 to 9.5 because of this. I walked around in the shop for 30 minutes to make sure there were no silly pressure points. One other disadvantage is that this boot takes a bit more time to strap on, unlike the double Boas.
As a casual splitboarder I am curious if anyone has tried these out in the back country? Reviews seem to hint at them being a potentially good option, but would appreciate in real life Intel. Also, as a Kootenay Rider stoked to see Tribute has a channel! Great review and good vibes. See you guys on Kootenay Pass this winter!
Love this channel and the deep dives you guys do. Best snowboard UA-cam in the game! I’m curious how these stack up against the verses? I was looking to get the Infuses but tried on the Verse and they fit great (despite me thinking I’m not a boa guy). How would they compare? I heard similar stiffness and construction, just lace up style varies. Thanks in advance.
Every foot is different I have a mid arched narrow foot, my shoe size is 11 and standing on a ruler I measure out 11 inches. I was able to downsize to a 10.5 vans infuse boot. Last year bought size 11 few days went by and it packed out more than I would've wanted. I always heat mold in the shop time of purchase. Hope this helps.
Honestly I would suggest wearing them for a few days on the mountain and around the house, if there are any pressure points or hotspots its probably worth it to try head molding but otherwise probably not
Your reviews are the best. Thanks for that and please keep it up. Question: I'm a size 12 soft boot carver shopping new boots--who makes the most compact soft boot sole length these days? Trying to minimize boot out... Thanks in advance.
Hey TM! Thanks for the love ! This model has a pretty small footprint on board , We would also defiantly recommend the Burton ION (or Driver if you need mega response) & lastly the Thirty Two TM2 - Hit your local shop and compare the models ...and most importantly , pick the right fit for you!
I tried on both today. Noticed a few things: The Aura Pros were wider throughout and were just an overall larger and cumbersome boot. I personally wasn’t a fan and could only fit down into a 12 in them. Pretty decently stiff boots. The Infuse were noticeable higher quality when I put them on. They are a little bit stiffer than the Auras (not crazy stiff) and were more comfortable in the footbed. The tow box shape was Better imo and the footprint was slimmer, yet I actually fit comfortably somehow into an 11.5 in the infuse.
We are going to drop a review of the ion soon, stay tuned for that. I personally ride the ion, so there’s that… but I also have a pair of Hitchhikers for touring… if I wanted a boot that did both I’d get the Arthur Longo for all of the features Mark mentioned.
@@thecertifiedboss thanks for the response, it's a hard choice but I'm edging towards the infuse, but I like the boot reduction technology and the liner and fast straps of the ion ...

Came to YT looking for solid reviews of this boot in current form or past. Loved the breakdown. Appreciate the deep dive! Subscribed.
Sweet! Thanks for the review Mark!
I just copped these just cause they look dope af. Idc lol
The best boot is the one that fits your foot and doesn't cause any pain. I tried on dozens of boots before I found the one that fits my needs.
I have the pat moore infuse from like 5 years ago it’s almost identical

I wonder how these are compared to the hi-country and verse range?
Great review but you missed one critical part. How do they fit?? True to size? Size up? Size down? That would be super helpful.

Do you guys think It would be good for Wide feet?
I love Van shoes but for some reason I have to go up 1.5 size in order to fit me.
Would you say you could use this boot for more freestyle? Or is this boot a bit too stiff for that kind of riding
Check out Elles and side the hit euphoria trilogy… that will answer your question! Arthur Longo is a beast.
Do you guys still heat mold this liner even though it's mostly neoprene? Doesn't seem like it would be worth it?

Anyone have a view of this vs the Vans Aura Pro? Just as a comparison of a lower price point boot from the same manufacturer

would you take this boot or the Burton ion ?
