Just a suggestion vithika when you pull out menstrual cup, you need to press the cup down with your index finger or any finger you are comfortable with and release the vacuum which the cup creates while attaching to the vagina wall, and then slowly remove it. If you just pull with the tip in the course of using the tip will tear or the vaginal wall could also cause a tear so by pushing down the cup with finger, you release the vacuum and it's easier to pull the cup out
Absolutely..the way vitika pulled out may be pain maul n instead use one finger n do pinch the rim and pull it gently

Very useful & knowledgeable video!! I have been using menstrual cup since 2years, switching to menstrual cup from sanitary pads is a big decision at that time for me. When the first time I used it I was very nervous that something was there inside my body but later sometime as you said “my periods were like NO PERIOD DAYS” and I’m enjoying my period days too no rashes nothing. I need to mention that, the last product Menstrual Cup is not right thing to do. It’s not for everyone to use. The reason is anything which goes inside our orificie( means opening into our body like nostril, anal opening or through vagina). It’s really important to follow aseptic techniques- clean and sterile, it’s safe done medically.
Using sanitary pads is hygienic and highly recommended because it reminds you to change often atleast 4-6 hours and as needed. Even though not comfortable, its
Tampons and menstrual cup stays inside, sometimes you don’t realize to change as you mentioned you totally forgot it’s in there.
If in case, any girl forgets, prolong period of having tampon or cup inside ( more than 24-42 hours)
It’s very serious, may lead to Toxic shock syndrome and Septic shock(medical emergency)
You are right, but it's best to remember to remove the menstrual cups and maintaining hygiene, as pads contain harmful carcinogens which can cause cancer

hi akka. Im a teenage highschool going girl and i started using menstural cup in 10th grade. It has been an amazing journey so far. Im in my 12th grade now and it feels nice to see someone Im familiar with talk about this. If I as a teen girl can use it then everyone can go for it with no fear what so ever. To all the girls out there, it is totally worth a try. Made my school life much easier. Especially when i see my class mates rush to the washroom as they doubt a leak, or forgot a pad and panic, i feel lucky to be using a cup and not having to go through the tension and discomfort that comes with a pad.

I just wanna share my experience here, I’ve been using menstrual cups from last 1year and asking my friends n family members to use the same.
Although there are many benefits of using cups.
The reason why I started using cups was only becos of these reasons:
1. These are environment friendly
2. No harsh chemicals like pads
3. Cost effective
However this would be most convenient while ur at home or when you’ve proper access to hygiene bathrooms. But this gets difficult to manage when you’re travelling like in public buses/trains elsewhere. Here I’m listing my points.
1. Always wear a cloth napkin to avoid accidental leakages when ur cup is full or not inserted properly.
2. Empty it for every 6-10hrs or when it is full
3. Can’t use while travelling as you will have to squat to insert/remove and need clean water to empty and wash it.

. I was in a confusion whether it's good to use it or not, but after doing some research I came to its the best gift for women with a great comfort. Asalu manam periods lo unnama ledha anedi kuda teliyanantha comfort untundi. But please avoid using colored menstrual cups as few companies added some colors which will impact us bit later, so use only WHITE COLOURED cup.

Amazing video from you. Just wanted to add something here. Guys there are multiple videos on menstrual cups please watch those, do complete research on brands, what size to buy and how to use. There are number of videos inserting the cup and removing it. Just dont pull the cup outside that is not the right way. Watct the videos which clearly explains about menstrual cups. Also we NEVER EVER WASH vagina. I know its a basic term most of them use. But we wash vulva the parts that we can see and feel outside. Vagina is present inside our body and dont have to wash it. Our body is self mechanised to take care of vagina. You should only need to take care of your vuvla. Google the images about vulva and vagina you will get more clarity on it. Im stressing on watching more videos because it gives you immense knowledge. Dont just follow anybody its your body, take care of it and listen to it.

I have been using it for 3 years, I suggested it to my cousins also, it is soo healthy because blood will be in it's original form unlike pads, pads are harmful to our vagina if we kept it more than 4 to 6 hours because blood will get absorbed and bacterial growth will start so menstrual cup is so good for health and it gives comfort also please I am requesting everyone use it, first time may we will fear but it's soo good and healthy.

If you are not married use a small size cup, if you are a mother then use medium or large depending on your flow
Up to 8 hours we can ,every time before the period boil it and during the period after discarding it wash with any soap or liquid, for every two to three months sun dry it.

It actually maintain certain pH there to prevent infection using such wash can alter the pH there so just water is enough for cleaning vagina

Vitika menstrual cup is a game changer for every women , been using it for half a decade now , small suggestion, shouldn't be removed that way , it hurts vagina, pinch, release the suction and drag it down . Thats how it works super smooth
