What is your opinion on the Union Jack? I saw suggestions, where a Welsh Dragon is right in the middle of the cross, so that Wales is included and I think that is just fair.
I don't like the Union Jack because it totally ignores Wales. Wales was considered a part of England when the flag was created. I would prefer Welsh independence above all, but failing that I would like greater recognition in the Union, and a cool little dragon in the middle would be highly appreciated. I watched a video on YT once about what the flag would look like if Scotland left and it was the English flag with the NI flag in the background and a dragon in the middle. That would look badass.

I don't know but I can guess...Europe doesn't actually have a flag but the EU does. I guess you have seen the dark blue background with stars in a circle on the front, right? That's the flag of the European Union. The EU is basically the beginning of a union, similar to that of the USA. So they have a flag of their own to show unity but retain their own national flags. It is more a cooperation than a formal union like the US.
