- macmost.com/e-3138 While it is easy to sort by numerical or alphabetical values, there is no simple way to sort with a custom order like High, Medium and Low. But you can use simple SEARCH or MATCH formulas to do a custom sort if you need it.

That was really useful, as it had a quick, simple search and a more comprehensive method.
I'm using numbers for a client list. I like your idea of a sort column to prioritize callbacks on specific clients. Thank you, Gary!
I've been using this for almost a decade already except the "custom" sort using MATCH function. This tutorial is very helpful. Thanks much Sir Garry.
I use this a lot here in the UK where the financial year starts in April and the usual date sorts put January first - very useful
Thanks Gary this is so useful
Another useful video.
Thanks bunches
I would not have thought to use "Search". Cool.
Yes, that’s very useful!
This may not apply to this video, however…i found a quark with MATCH function. I have a second table with a list of stock prices from $11 to $18. I use the index and match functions to find items in the second table. However, if i search for $10, it’s outside the range of $11 to $18, so it throws an error because i was using ‘find largest value’. I had to switch it to ‘find smallest value’ for searches that could potentially fall under $11. I continue using ‘find largest value’ for searches potentially above $18. I hope i explained that ok. Just wanted to pass this along.
A very useful and informative video tutorial today! Thank you, Gary! 👏🏻❤️
Hey 👋
My Mac (Apple Silicon), App Store doesn't show available updates, Using App Stroe default settings, No Changes but recently it has stopped showing available updates, tried clearing cache but not successful.
Few days earlier i was just checking few apps, on app store then came to Apple Keynote, Pages & noticed there's an update available for Pages. Keynote but if i go to the Available updates section in the App Store, these updates are not available.
Seems like updates only visible within the App Section not in the Available updates section.
Any fix ???
Maybe if you can make a video to fix this problem
I don't know what would cause that problem, sorry. Did you try Command+R on the App Store updates screen?
@@macmost Just tried Reload Page (Command R) - Updates appeared !!!
Thanks 👍👍👍
Can you please make a tutorial on mapping controller keys on Macos esp. 8bit zero 2 , i used kanarban app and even bought an app from appstore and none worked for me . I use the controller with Anki & remnote for flashcards. I tried other apps and many different fixes but none worked very well , idk why it’s such a hassle to do. I would really appreciate it ❤
Controllers, like game controllers? If they don't come with software to do it, I would try using Keyboard Maestro to customize them. But I've never tried.
@@macmost I’ll try it , tysm
