To partially answer some of your questions: 1) In the world of Death Note there is no heaven or hell. There is simply Mu, or nothingness. No matter who dies or why, death simply means you stop existing entirely. 2) The apple is meant to represent the Fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil from the Bible. They really leaned in heavily to the biblical metaphors in the show, especially in the imagery.

To answer your questions, without spoilers (if i miss one it's probably coz i couldn't answer without spoiling) If Light gives away the death note or loses it, he won't just die, Ryuk explains this in like episode 1 or 2). The first rule of the notebook, ANY human whose name is written in the death note will die in 40 seconds, Light is a human so yes he would die if his name was written in the notebook. i think it's like the second rule or one of the first 5 at least, something like, "You may write a cause of death for the person, you have 2 minutes and 30 seconds to write the cause, they will die of that method 40 seconds after the 2:30 is up or you have finished writing, no cause, will just cause that person to have a heart attack" there is more to this rule that gets added later that's a minor spoiler so that's all you need to know. To clear up a bit about the Death Note, having your name written in the book does not send you to heaven or hell. You just die and you would go to wherever you would have gone if the Death Note had not killed you. However, you writing somebody else's name in the book even once means you cannot go to heaven or hell after you die. I am gonna take a guess and say you haven't tried watching many non action anime. Try watching some romance or slice of life anime and see if those suite you more. Comedy can also be a good watch too. Try checking out some of the songs with vocals from Angel Beats. You should check out some JAM Project music. Like the SoulTaker theme. Or Ayumi Hamasaki songs. "Moonlight Densetsu" from Sailor Moon, "A Cruel Angel's Thesis" from Evangelion, etc.. There are definitely stylistic differences between the way Anesons sing and English speaking singers. DEFINITELY check out more anime theme songs.
little bit info, the band is Nightmare. The vocalist’ stage name is known to be Yomi. Yomi always sings like that, during 2015-2020 (?) he had dysphonia. Which i believe is bad for ur voice. Right now, he is still able to sing. Believe he overcame dysphonia. Nightmare is still active. Their songs are good.
yes, you can because Japanese vocal is very different than western vocals. All of the rhythms are 'ma'-based and silence is an important part of the songs. (that's what I know, might be wrong.) Japanese electronic music feels light, airy, slick, and truly futuristic; American music lacks this. in a lot of electronic genres, American music uses human vocals to create weird and silly sounds that are repeated. Also, the lyrics are always awesome. Take care. (these are just thoughts and the Japanese usually use the electronic genre in their songs.)

There are SO many great anime songs. But in regards to the classical vibrato in a metal rock song is actually due to the fact that metal actually originated from classical operatic music.

"Ile become a god of a new era"-light yagami Death note synopsis: A japaneese high schooler comes across a book possessed by a shinigami a god of death from japaneese mythology he now has the ability to kill the people who's names are in the book his goal to become god in a world of light rather than a normal boy in a world of darkness Also don't watch the live action its a mockery of the books/manga and the original show and to answer your question I can tell you for a fact most if not all are answered I won't spoil it
I don't know if opera is a speciality of yours, but the _Elfin Lied_ opening theme "Lilium" is an unmissable original opera piece to analyse if so! It must surely hold the title of "most covered song by people who haven't seen the show it's from"!

The music is primarily made by Jeff Williams and his daughter Casey Lee Williams. And I would love to see you break down one of (if not more of) the songs. I'm particularly interested in you reacting to "This Life Is Mine". If I remember my timelines right, the main vocalist, Casey Lee, is around 17 or 18 at the time the vocals are recorded for the song. It's a beautiful song, and I think you would love it.
Wow, i love editing, definitely gonna check some videos on this channel
You must check out the death note musical

The show has a very religiuos tone. So the fact that the song is rock but a little bot clasicly at the same time makes sense
This has probably already been answered but people who use the notebook won't go to neither heaven nor hell. They go to the nothingness. And that's the whole question of the. anime... is Light actually doing something good or bad?
"Ile become a god of a new era"-light yagami
Death note synopsis: A japaneese high schooler comes across a book possessed by a shinigami a god of death from japaneese mythology he now has the ability to kill the people who's names are in the book his goal to become god in a world of light rather than a normal boy in a world of darkness
Also don't watch the live action its a mockery of the books/manga and the original show and to answer your question I can tell you for a fact most if not all are answered I won't spoil it

I don't know if opera is a speciality of yours, but the _Elfin Lied_ opening theme "Lilium" is an unmissable original opera piece to analyse if so! It must surely hold the title of "most covered song by people who haven't seen the show it's from"!
