I really enjoyed how you took the time to explain these awards. Congratulations on getting it done. I am always at 20 or 40 meters when I am out. I attempted 15 meters the other day, and it was dead. I am a new subscriber here. Thanks for the videos. 73.
Thanks for the sub! 20m and 40m are great bands and there’s plenty of activity. But there’s other options too, which can be less crowded and a great way to try different antennas.
This is true not only for POTA and VHF Contests but also for just building the logbook on HF during contests but it's definitely s great plug for activity on VHF, well done .
I have two bands to go for N1CC Activator! I stopped at a couple of parks during my last VHF Rover effort. Unfortunately, the parks were void of VHF+ activity. I didn't try FT8, though. I wasn't equipped at the time. I'll get there eventually... marathon-vs-sprint. 😉 73! -Scott, KE4WMF

Thanks! I always say that contests are a great way to try new and different bands or modes, which can be fun and a good learning experience.

Nice. It’s always good to have options!
