It can be. Just piece together your own nu-metal band and boom, dope music again. The real test is finding people who wanna listen; I imagine with all the LB hate and general distaste for nu-metal these days it’ll be tough finding your own audience on a large scale. You’ll have to cater to old school nu-metal heads and hope word spreads to the kids of today and they bump you.
@@LexBanksBeats I don't know. Let's not go back to rap rock. That's what killed it in the first place. Go back to Korn and Deftones if you're going to do some s*** like that. Think the Slipknot debut not hippity hop
Yeah it was definitely a unique time. The peak of the music “industry” for better or for worse. But to me the coolest thing as a young music fan was seeing EVERY SINGLE GENRE on equal footing with one another. You’d see KoRn, Britney, blink 182, Eminem and so many other artists all over mainstream outlets. Nothing was off limits and creativity was rewarded, not just in terms of the music itself but also music videos and the whole visual and marketing aspect. Such an incredible time!
The last time I saw the boys (minus Lethal) I had them all sign my sealed copy of this cassette. John in particular went nuts! He said he was looking for a copy of this the other day and jokingly said he would buy it from me.... Yeah right John!! lol The first time I met Fred he was loud and signed his name gigantic across my entire vinyl but at this show he signed everything so small I could barely distinguish his name. Sam has always been the NICEST guy in the band, but Lethal is the reason I started DJing & producing 20 years ago. He is the icing, the glue that ties these musical genres and elements together. After seeing so many iterations of the band with different lineups, it is my opinion that they really need ALL 5 BOYS to truly make an LB record. Having some knowledge about their inner turmoil, privately listening to one member rant about their issues with another, it is a miracle that they have been able to get the full lineup back together. Some members have addiction, some have closed that door. Some had big egos back in the day but are humble today, while other members are very egotistical today. With such powerful personalities as they all have, I have to give up my utmost respect for their ability to control their own behavior for the sake of their brothers and their ability to handle their disagreements. As Les Claypool said, LIMP BIZKIT'S ONE HELL OF A BAND!!!

I wish they would mellow out and release a prog rock album, so Fred doesn't have to scream so much in his gray days. He could have been evolving his singing voice this whole time. Blown the world away with a mellow album. But he has stuck true to the beginning, screaming and pushing the band to its limits.
