6:40 Pollution
12:27 Bombtrack
13:05 Nobody Loves Me
Fred is 27, Lethal is 24, Wes is 22, Sam and John are 20 here
I think Fred is a very underrated vocalist. He's a good live screamer, and his high pitch rapping is very signature.
Three dollars bill was their most rage filled album
Keep waching for new show 1997-2010 from my channel
There was a lot of RATM and KoRn influence in that album. Think of it as if the two debut albums of those bands had a baby.
@@K.J.S.est1994 deftones too
Their best hands down.....
I remember being at this show. I was asking people around me who they were and no one knew. By the end, they won over the crowd as they always do.
..... That's so dope!!!! I remember this set too!
damn all it took was less than 20 minutes
Man, wish I had been old enough to have been there. Huge LB fan, okie born and raised, alas I was only 14 in 97 and I'll be honest, I had just gotten into nu-metal. Had family in Cali and went there for the summer and got my eyes opened and world turned upside down while I was out there and when I came back the heavier the better. Korn, Zombie, Deftones, LB, and so on. That's cool he mentioned Sugar Ray, I did see them with 311 and Incubus in Norman, OK at OU. 311 was heavy, well as heavy as they ever were in their careers, Sugar Ray was heavy, so was Incubus. Not nu-metal heavy but heavy for what they all played.
yeah this show was insane in ABQ 505 one of the few good things about ABQ was Edgefest back in the day if you got to see it :)
Can’t believe they opened this one with Everything. Fucking epic
Wes Borland is an underrated guitarist.
No longer! He finally received the respect he deserves!
@@wmccinema Did he win an award or something?
this sentence is in the middle of the graph of "things limp bizkit fans say" bingo
@@herbmaaster Quite honesty, I’m not the biggest fan of Limp Bizkit as a whole, but I am a fan of Wes Borland. He’s what makes the band for me.
Long been understood that hes underrated.....not among the guitar community tho....just among lay ppl he hasnt been given the appreciation.
7:48 omg how does he do that????
Wow what a find! LB was quite aggressive back then and with a different vibe. Nowadays you wont hear them playing almost anything from their debut album except occasionally Faith.
1997 - so before Slipknot. That means Wes was the first with a Clown/Pinocchio Mask. He was always ahead his Time
Slipknot 1995
I remember this show! The lineup was great! Reel big fish, smash mouth, sugar ray, our lady peace, helmet, faith no more.. the good days!
My uncle is a sound engineer and plays poker with the guys from helmet, I should be meeting them soon
Why is helmet so far down on your 🌈 list of bands on the bill?
Hell yeah. Fred came out with helmet and did just another victim .
Can’t find the kid rock or the kmk videos no where though
Sugar Ray 🤣
This was one of the baddest edgefest festivals at Mohawk. Fred came out with Helmet and tore it up.
Such amazing chaotic stage energy. Cant wait for the 2024 summer tour. Ready 2 go.
Holy crap this is amazing footage.
Whew doggy, don't think I've ever seen Wes rock out that hard 😮
i was 11 in this year . i just was getting into korn and bizkit. i first heard korns self titled in grade 5 then heard 3$billyall from a cousin this year. glad i got startedearly
Hell yea, I was 9 in 97 but I was fully obsessed with Bizkit, Korn and deftones. Didn’t get to see em til I was 10. Music kicked so much ass then
One of my mom's best friends Roscoe Shoemake worked for the edge and and we used to get VIP parking inside the gates and VIP bracelets For free beer and pizza at VIP tent for all the Birthday Bash and Edgefests. Every year I would get a poster with all the band signatures on it. It was so late neat I was just a teenager, maybe 13.
The last time I went was When Godsmack played, they opened playing Voodoo. I will never forget the way it sounded through those huge speakers live. You definitely felt it mentally and physically! I wish I would have been in my early 20s during those days and partied harder at those concerts. Good old days!
Happy 25 yrs birthday limp bizkit yall deserve to be interduced to the rock in roll hall of fame ...you guys all work so hard ...dedicated to your limp bizkit fans has always ....🖕👍
Wish they would come back with some "Three dollars bill" type of songs
The new album still sucks
Sind schon zu alt😉
Ya gotta appreciate stuff for what it was snd is at its time. Trying to force or recreate some energy like that would probably come off weird and contrived. Like trimming a bunch of branches off a tree to make it like it used to be... but it never quite is
They did.. They tried that after their results may vary hard rock album and released a very raw EP called unquestionable truth part 1 and no one liked it (except for the Wes fans).
Wes Borland sempre foi primitivo especial guitarrista que banda foda Limp Bizkit Forever
4:10 legendary
7:36 also legendary
Its sucha bliss to listen to the first three minutes of this with Wes just having fun
Damn ,vídeo like this make u realize how incredible lb Is ,AND how talented wes Is.
Holy crap this is awesome. I was 13 and somewhere in the middle of a moshpit at the time. Damn what a good time edgefest was.
Лучшее время в музыкальной индустрии 🙂
Amazing☑ My mom was working the Pepsi booth so I got back stage pass and broughta friend. I was 13 and holy shit 💯
Your mom was working behind the Pepsi booth too
15:23
15:42 Now THAT'S energy!
Pure chaos 🤘🏼🔥💀
Man I wish i was alive to experience this. I would love to be able to play as energetic as Wes but its hard lol
I remember this Edgefest. I went to all of them except the first year in '95.
"Which Slipknot member are you for Halloween Young Mr. Borland?"
"Why Mrs. Pickles! You know very well that I am all of them...bitch."
The “bitch” was a nice touch. Definitely makes it more Wes Borland.

Wes wearing some jnco wide load jorts, classuc
Killer video. Best shot LB I've seen from this era.. my fav!
Fred is the man in the house front of the stage.
Dam! Some good old LB.. Nice! I picked up my first guitar in 1998. This is partly why...I was angry and frustrated which is what attracted me to the music. This was when it was just about the music...

@@aibansharailyngdoh8608 almost 50
@@ToddAutry, time flies man
Was Wes in that mask
That baggy pants of fred that sometimes fieldy of korn wear too
Shout out the giant Pepsi ball in the background!
They played on the Vans Warped Tour that summer as well.
Wes’s backups on pollution are brutal
The whole no back drop is a nice touch...

2×platinum album in USA
I was there
The drummer and the bass player are the non-weird ones
Weird seeing Wes play a Ibanez instead of a Jackson lol
I was there. Great fuckin show. !!!!
Wow. The intro gives me Vietnam 🇻🇳 flasbacks.
I'd thought 3 dollars bill was the dope!!!
Wes be giving Slipknot vibes here lol
nacieron para el exito
In 2009 they did this intro again in rock am ring in germany

LP showed Slipknot the Mask thing
Slipknot Will be impressed with wes’s mask
Where do you think they got their idea from?
@@chrisparker5278 Mr. Bungle
@@chrisparker5278 everyone got it from Mr.Bungle they would wear coverall jumpsuits and mask or go full circus. KoRn wore mask early on an Munky and Fieldy were massive fans of them. That’s why is so heavy because Mr.Bungle used Tritones in my ass is on fire. KoRn uses it all the time, like in Divine. Early Deftones used it in Root. Slipknot was the band that did all the time and had numbers and were heavy and faster lmao
@18:24 .... I can see myself lol

Охуенно.
