Great reaction. The song is almost 5 years old. It was on BABYMETAL's Metal Galaxy album released in 2019. It is one of BABYMETAL's more 'chill' songs ... but they do everything (not sure they have a "typical" sound) - and as you said, that makes them the perfect band to collaborate with since they can adapt to virtually any other band's or artist's style. Tim Henson and Scott le Page provided and recorded the guitar tracks for the original recording of the song. Fox_Fest was the first chance they all had to meet up and to finally do this very first live performance with them all together. When Polyphia was confirmed on the bill for Fox_Fest (arranged, hosted and headlined by BABYMETAL in Tokyo) we all had a good idea of what would happen.🎸🎸
Welcome back to the Foxhole and now going back to Metal Galaxy era.🦊🤘🌅 Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find many more like this with more mature sound, it came out in 2019 so isn't so new but is one of the songs with more mature sound. The album version got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, and it's quite clear in the solo section. Tim Henson said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs on this song. The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc. Song is inspired by certain "City Pop" band and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about this being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly. Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together. They did it again last week at Graspop Festival in Belgium and they hug each other at the end just like in this version only thing it was cut out, there's also a proshot clip but I'm not so sure about the sound mix. Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it. In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one. BM said in a recent interview that they would love to collab along with Fall Out Boy, can you imagine?👀 Keep enjoying BM songs and see you next time 🦊🤘🔥
Lol, great reaction. I laughed at your intro comments, but y’all are spot on. All 5 of them are what happens when you min/max your RPG character build to a god-like S-Tier level of awesomeness. They’re all OP at life. 🤣🤘🦊 And this song is a banger, straight happiness for my soul.
Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this artistic play at the venue (2 times in the two-day Fox_Fest). What a bliss!! Soothing and exquisite performance by 5 elegant figures in the center 😍. Classy incorporation by our Kami Band on both sides (4 guitars in total) ❤ Various elements created by 3 beautiful performers and 6 instrumentalists with virtuosity were mixed and sublimed into one beauty by means of something like alchemy. The actual applause at the end of the song was much much much bigger than that recorded in this video. They did it together again in Belgian festival on June 20.
Nicely done gentlemen. I checked and most of the pertinent background info has already been provided. So that just leaves it to me to just rave unabashedly about how incredible Su's vocals are oin this performance. I feel like her singing is just evolving at an incredible pace right now. So very beautiful how Babymetal and the boys worked together here. Awesomely chill!
⚡ 🍑 💕 / 🌅 The Polyphia guys have said that there are more BABYMETAL collaborations coming. Looking forward to hearing what BABYMETAL on a Polyphia track will sound like.
Great reaction! Beautiful SU singing and MOA&MOMO Beautiful dancing & Tim Henson and Scott LePage's guitar sounds, amaaaaazing!🎸🦊🎸

we agree! Babymetal and Polyphia should do more collabs! They're amazing
Su-metal HAS indicated interest in a collaboration with Fall Out Boy, FYI.
Tim Henson few weeks ago just confirmed they will have a song featuring babymetal on their next album.
