I've known a few different people that were S.M.I. and they told me about how they deserve an Oscar for going into the building to get diagnosed while wearing a flannel, a beanie, and carrying a tall can in a paper bag and acting like it's normal. (Also it was in the summer time.)

At least here in FL they have to have their school picture ID and checked against the school roster upon entering. You can only enter through one opening that is guarded by a police officer and several security officers. So this might be the fact that the school district hasn't put in the necessary safe guards.

I used to live in haymarket northern Virginia and I grew up in South Carolina. In SC they randomly would search kids backpacks and make us go through metal detectors and also to make sure no random people walked in. When I was in high school in VA no one searched anything and I as a 17 year old kid took weed into my high school and smoked it in the bathroom multiple times and never got caught. Virginia schools are seriously lacking.
