- Loudoun County school officials are under fire once again. This time, parents want answers on how the school district is keeping their kids safe after two alleged sexual assaults.
Scott Smith, a father of a Loudoun County student, was arrested earlier this year at a school board meeting. He says his daughter was sexually assaulted inside the bathroom of her school.

'We can confirm a May 28, 2021 case that involved a thorough 2-month-long investigation that was conducted to determine the facts of the case prior to arrest,' the sheriff's office reportedly said.
'This case is still pending court proceedings. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is not able to provide any documents that pertain to a pending case.'
The male student, who was allowed into the bathroom because he told staff he identified as female, was arrested in July, a month after Smith's outburst at the school board meeting.
The boy allegedly went on to allegedly sexually assault another girl, at a different school, Broad Run High School, on October 6. Broad Run is also part of Loudoun County. Further details on the circumstances of that assault, including why he was at a different school, have not been made clear.
He is now in juvenile detention awaiting a court appearance on all charges, which include sexual battery and forcible sodomy.

That's the only answer at this point: get your kids out of schools (public and private alike). If you don't have time to home school them, they'll still be better off reading and watching documentaries on their own.
It's easy enough to say, but with inflation, a lot of families need two paychecks to keep the lights on, and the roof over their heads. You leave the kids home alone sure enough child protective services will be along to kidnap them right back into the system.
This dad is the role model for advocating for yourself. Government and private systems are there to protect management.
This reporter did a great job. He asked questions that helped the dad get sound talking points.
The fact this issue even has to be a discussion is sickening.

As a gay man my entire life, I do not understand why kids can't just go to school and learn. As a boy, I used the boys bathroom and thats it! Adults str8 and gay are making an issue about kids being trans, kids are not trans or anything unless someone is putting that into their heads. The only thing a parent should do is guide their kids accordingly, if my kid identified as gay, lesbian, str8 etc. I would act accordingly and tell them that school is for learning and to find the kids they have commonality with to do so. There were no gay clubs or protections in my generation when I attended k through 12, I did just fine and so did all of the other kids who grew up gay. In fact, I think my str8 friends had more problems than I did...haha...Mr. Smith and his family deserve answers and guarantees that this will not happen again. Children are not inherently concerned about which bathroom to use, again, someone had to put that into their heads, children; even high school young adults are concerned with their peer groups and clicks and will naturally gravitate to those said groups. I am a military combat veteran who was a medic, and worked for many years in the medical profession. I worked with pediatrics as well, they are not as confused as this nonsense is leading everyone to believe. All children are different and identify or mature at different intervals in life, I know men and women who knew they were gay as children just as my parents knew they were str8 as children, however those men and women who come out as adults after living a lie of being str8 have it worse and usually come from religious guilt from family members. I knew I was gay as a kid and when it wasn't trendy, I have always owned up to being a man and living my life authentically. Kids at 13 beyond in high school do know their sexual orientation, Mr. Smith knew his at that age I am quite sure. The issue is not about identifying as gay, trans, str8 but how about biological sexes, just use the assigned bathrooms. Gays never fought for these things back in my day, we only wanted and still want EQUAL rights, no more, no less than our str8 parents, counterparts and community members. Teachers, parents and the children should ONLY BE CONCERNED with the children or kids learning THATS IT! Put more energy into learning than worrying or fabricating issues about sexual identity all day long. As a kid, I had to attend school, work at 7, then 11 I had my own business until I was 15 and so on, I didn't have time to worry about much else. I had my American family life and my Italian family life, good luck on complaining about my sexual orientation and identity, or complaining at all about life period. Put a book in the hands of your children, take a trip into nature etc. = no time for all of this ridiculous narrative. It also begs the question, what are school board members and staff, teachers etc. addressing if they are only concerned about feelings and sexual identities all the day long?????

This man showed incredible self restraint. Most of the fathers I know would have gone to the board meeting and waited in the parking lot for the board members to come out. This man should be praised for his self restraint. The two police officers that arrested him are not cops. They are thugs. A real cop would have been waiting in the parking lot with the father. I know, to many, these ideas are archaic, and I understand that. The question I have is, how can we remove this cancer from our political system? This cancer denies reality and forces people to accept the idea that 2 + 2= 5.

When a kid makes a threat against the school, the school arrests the kid and a letter is sent out to all Parents. If Sexual Assault Happens, there's no arrests, no letter, and the victims are silenced and ignored. The school clearly doesn't include the child as part of their school when a student is personally victimized.

Yeah, as should be done for any open case. We've seen the SEVERE consequences of the public having influence on cases that should be left to the courts. I know this is an emotional story, but, as civilized people, we have to quell our temptation to pass judgement without even hearing the first piece of an argument from the other side. You should be glad that people aren't allowed to share anything they want about an open case because that is a sign of our judicial system WORKING. You can't simply pick sides based on what a single party is claiming. We MUST be willing to hear from BOTH sides before making any judgement, and that's what the courts are there for.

This is why I not only allow but encourage my daughter to carry a polypropylene knife in her purse, pocket or shoe/boot wherever she goes, it's not very sharp, but the shape of the blade causes a cross shaped hole which will stop an attacker in there tracks, she knows to never use it unless it's in self defense

My theory is that the school board ambushed the father at the school board, deliberately creating a confrontation in order to have an excuse to arrest him before he got a chance to tell the public. The emails and texts of the school administrators and school board should be subpoenaed, with electronic forensics experts looking for deleted texts and emails.

Personally I think there’s gotta be some standard aside from just choosing whatever bathroom you want, but I don’t think it necessarily has to do with the hardware you have down there. Cross dressing = biological bathroom 100%. However, if I can’t tell by looking at you if you’re male or female, I probably won’t think much of it. If you look like a woman, have gone through the transitioning process to some extent, whether that be facial plastic surgery, breast implants or removal, and you legitimately come across as the opposite of your biological sex, so as you wish and I probably won’t ever know. Female and male exclusive restrooms with a co-ed or private bathroom/locker room alternative would be the best case scenario, but that will take a lot of rebuilding and money for businesses. Schools however, I think they have to stick to biological sex bathrooms for liability sake and safety of the students.
Public bathrooms though… as long as a creepy man wearing a dress and high heels with a beard and hairy legs doesn’t come walking into the ladies bathroom, I’m not too concerned.
