Dropped one good beginner album and that’s it. From time to time I’ll listen to the first album and remember thinking they’d be big way back. Then everything else afterwards was a case of wasted potential.

Every time this band becomes the topic of discussion I immediately start to feel a lil heartbroken.This band had the potential to be up there with bands like Trivium or BFMV.I have never seen a band start off so strong the way these guys did.The way they started out with the old school metal sound in their first album to the modern sound metalcore sound on their second album was executed BRILLIANTLY.It is such a shame that they fell off the map and have been forgotten by a lot of people over the years.
Well hella shit happened to the band and i mostly blame bullet for my valentine after they toured with them they picked up a shitty generic sound then later they went on a long ass hiatus members of the band left last attempt of a song they had was in 2013 i think austin and gabe were the only ones in the band later gabe from having lack of money made a porn video lol

I'm currently going through all old nhl soundtracks man, 12 and 13 easily have the best soundtracks. So many good songs. Nhl 23 has like one good song by coheed and Cambria that's about it
Should check out old videos of Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan. Was one of the most amazing drummers I have ever heard of and the original drummer for Avenged Sevenfold. Sadly he died a while back, at way too young an age, due to an enlarged heart.
I'll never forget buying the CD at my wal mart because i seen it had Matt Tuck in Ashes i was like sold and than i fell in love with this whole cd this becoming my favourite from the whole cd.
Artists style change it happens people call them sellouts but its mainly people who are die hard metallica fans that say that. These guys make good music people just critically hate for no reason.

Sure you still had power metal bands like Sabaton, Alestorm, and Powerwolf that were coming out at that time, but if you wanted some new talent in metal you were most likely going to find any band with consistent releases being emo as fuck metalcore. They were a breath of fresh air and proof that classic metal wasn't dead. They blew up because how much of a demand there was for music like their Light from Above album.

The composition of this song is absolutely brilliant. Production is awesome and the track is generally dynamic. Not enough credit for what it is. This should be a rock anthem. Love the latin influences. Great grooves. What's not to love?
