I could see this being more akin to the original story, where in a dream Tom is tormented by the disembodied voices of tails and knuckles, blaming him for their deaths. While X keep chasing and taunting him. But that’s just my take
That would explain why eggman isnt in the song.

I mean, this is supposed to be a non-canon take on Too Slow taking aspects from my Sonic AU and some original ideas so it isn't meant to be based on the original creepypasta, but still, thanks!
and don't worry, I'll try my best to do more, but uploads really depend if I wanna make a visualizer to go along with a specific cover, so the "upload schedule" will be pretty unpredictable
edit note: just sayin, this is nowhere near THE best version of Too Slow, there are definitely better out there, but thank you for the compliment on it, I tried to make it sound good with the mashups and whatnot

I really like this mashup-mix, especially the Tails and Knuckle's part but that Triple Trouble at the end was amazing. Tho some vocal rework on certain part's like the Cycles reference could really make this so much better, overall this cover is amazing

I like the song too, but I feel like that would ruin the surprise in triple trouble where you face the souls and I think the beginning section is too long.

I try to heart, like & reply to as many comments as I can since y'all are genuinely amazing, enjoying the silly content I make n whatnot
I get the impression that the first part, (Flee segment) We're actually fighting the real Sonic, until everything turns black, Green Hill turns into Hill, and "Sonic" Appears, later revealing he's not Sonic and it's actually Sonic.EXE.
This kind of makes me think he's in a version of the Sonic 1 Rom hack called "an Ordinary Rom hack", but it couldn't be because Tails and Knuckles are there with their Respective zones from their game debuts, and the fact that Labyrinth stays the same.
Also liked that went it changed to "Encore", Sonic.EXE changes forms, Nice touch. 10/10

and altho it isn't said, you were correct about the section with Flee, but the bit with Hill is Sonic trying to fight back against X until he fully takes over which kicks off Too Slow
plus the Hill BG being the same one from an Ordinary ROM Hack was just a design choice by me, this mashup doesn't take place in the same hack

(plus it has my AU's designs of Knuckles & Boyfriend in it too so that's neat)
@LardeX Tech Reviews 1. nah, the second Sonic is Sonic trying to fight back against X, since he's possessing his body in this take, I applied Xeno's effects to the chromatic tho as it's a midway point between the two
2. although you are correct about this one, I pitched down Sonic's vocals by 12 like the original Xeno chromatic to make this version's one (which I'm really proud of tbf)

I love how Exe uses the souls here, it really makes it stand out, so far your version of too slow and the mario mix time attack are the only songs where the antagonist uses the souls during a song that's not triple trouble

Don't worry if I know who the real composers of the "references" you put in your remix are, as I told you it was perfect, so don't despise your work, it's not only made from other remixes but from original pieces made by you.

although if you'd like some context on the story to apply the lyrics to:
- Xeno is possessing Sonic's body, the Hill segment is him trying to fight back whilst Flee is completely Sonic in control
- Tails died in Chemical Plant whilst Knuckles died on Angel Island (not exactly canon since in actuality they both died on Angel Island at the same place at the same time whilst fighting against this version of Xeno, but oh well)

Amazing but the vocals for exe and sonic are kinda really loud. Bf voice kinda cracks aswell in some parts and most of it are off key but overall. One of the best covers for too slow
1 question: will this become a mod? I would definitely like to see it fully fleshed out. But the song itself was a banger

as for the effects on X's voice, I just pitched down the Chaos Nightmare Sonic chromatic by 12 and applied the Triple Trouble effects & synth / collecitve "chromatic" to it iirc

When I first published this song 10 years ago I just wanted to showcase the forward version first and then include the reversed version at the end, and back then I literally hadn't realized that the forward version was supposed to play in the last stage, and people were asking over and over again if that one was "...".
Now I titled the songs the way people would expect to find them and the same thing happens again but it's the other way around. 😸
This time, and now that I titled them accordingly, this one is "..." and the reversed one is "Hill"."
