Holy shit, this is so much better than the original. It blew my expectations out of the water with how it played out (and I like how Metal Sonic takes Shadow's place too).
In Eggmans section a can hear tails and knuckles singing too, id like to imagine their singing with bf, and that after every encounter bf has with a soul, they are semi free from X allowing them to fight X alongside bf, and with every soul that slowly gets freed, sonic is able to very slowly fight X for control aswell.

Replacing Shadow with Metal Sonic was was a really smart move, I love Shadow but he really doesn't fit as a Xeno soul I also like to imagine Metal being transformed into a kind of "Metal Xeno", like if Xeno forced Soul Eggman to recreate Metal to fit Xeno's image Fantastic cover overall, would love to see someone make a playable version if this sometime Keep up the good work, and always remember, trans rights are human rights Edit: It took me longer than it should've to notice the What I'm Made Of references in Metal's sections

I like how you added Tails and Knuckles during Eggman's part, like even when their friend had been replaced with a God that's gay for said friend and enslaved them to do his every bidding there's nothing stopping them from taking down the doctors plan XD (unless, their on his side than I change my mind).
I kinda just added them in Robotnik's part since I thought it would be cool, don't really have a reason behind it, sorry ^^" btw, Xeno in this remaster isn't a separate entity from Sonic - he's possessing his body, which is why you can hear Sonic's voice behind his + there's a few short moments where Sonic manages to break through Xeno's control
you can tell it was first made by smash because how the vocals still sound AI generated and poorly thought out of amazing attempt, but to fully fix something made by smash, seems like the only way is to fully redo the vocals
personally I think the vocals sound perfectly fine (atleast with the chromatics I used lol), but I understand & respect why you think otherwise also thank you :D

the theming of the Classic era was the whole reason why I swapped out Shadow for Metal, since he felt so out of place in the original in a cast of mainly Classic characters
and yeah, I decided to play into the idea that Amy would join Sonic (or in this case Xeno) in one of his sections considering the fact that she's willing to go to the ends of the Earth to find him (plus she's also my favourite Sonic character so I wanted to give her a little more screentime than the others lol)
I dunno when I'll release the FLP tho since I'm rather impatient when it comes to that stuff (loading it all into one Drive folder, the upload times SUCK) but I'll try to do it at some point, I'll probably reply to this outta the blue again when I've uploaded it

btw, Xeno in this remaster isn't a separate entity from Sonic - he's possessing his body, which is why you can hear Sonic's voice behind his + there's a few short moments where Sonic manages to break through Xeno's control
