- Sean Danielsen, the singer from Smile Empty Soul and Fuels first and regular singer Brett Scallions have started a band together called World Fire Brigade. Check out one of their new songs called Take Me Away. It's f*cking badass and Sean does some old school screaming. Check out the band Fuel also, a really good band.

This band helped me so much. So many songs I can relate to. I't makes me happy that i'm not alone in this world. Helped me thru so much depression. I give all my thanks to Smile Empty Soul.

Smile Empty Soul is my favorite band. Sean speaks to my soul. No matter how how fucked up things are it's ok.
Smile empty soul is the band that is going to change my life.
God I want to write or email this guy and ask him to please stop writing and singing song that make me think about the things I'm going through. I am kidding of course. But Sean is very good at doing that. Currently I have a friend/ father figure who is loosing his battle with cancer. I cried yesterday, worked a 3rd shift , came home had a beer and then found this. Smile has tons of songs, everyone of them gold. But I found this one for the first time. Thanks, I think. But really it expressed how I was feeling.

I've been a fan of S.E.S. for years and I just thought they were a big mainstream band. none of my friends have heard of em. every time I recommend em people come back and ask why they haven't heard them before. most of em have heard bottom of a bottle and just didn't know who played it

This bands is one of the best bands i've ever heard. And i've been listening to them since they've released their first album. Im so disapointed that they arrent bigger then they are, and I dont understand why?

and also it doesn't help when their past record labels keep fucking them over. Trying to change them into something they are not. Through all the bullshit, they remain one of the most underrated bands out right now & have been for years.
'Anxiety' kicked ass and hardly anyone even got the chance to hear it.

dudes the verses are just 5 barred on the C# G# c# strings (cuz i play in the same tuning sean plays and seether plays so i no the notes) and then you switch to an open with a 2 on the F# string and a 3 on the A# string and then it goes to a 2 barred and transition a 4th fret on the high C# string and it gets tht transition while you hold the twos and the bridge is just an open an a barred 2 on the C# G# c# strings its a really easy song
also the chorus is 5557xx and you go to a 7779xx then go back up to an open with the F# string on the 2nd fret and the A# string on the 3rd fret with open notes and then go 2227xx. And its in drop C# or another way to say the same turning Drop D 1/2 step down

You're right about Anxiety. They originally had a label but they got themselves dropped on purpose cuz they were sick of being controlled by the label.

Airguitar, they probably will some of there new songs have a little pop in them but there sounding amazing. They got that record deal so they'll be heard for sure hopefully more than there first record but lets hope so.

I've been hearing that it will be released on June 16th and you should be able to get in Canada since these guys look like they'll finally break back onto the radar with this album but if it ends up like the last album then the only place to get it even in the U.S. is best buy, nowhere else. I don't think that will be the case tho because they plan on doing a world tour.
It was released with the Troll Forcefield CD, a sideproject with Sean, he plays guitar in that band...the song "Anywhere but Down" was also added, as an extra song!
The song was recorded for their first album, Smile Empty Soul, but wasnt added in the song line-up for it! The 2 songs have nothing to do with "Troll Forcefield" they are just added on the CD...
It was many years ago, I think I was lurking some SES-forums and found some live recordings along with this song. It's been said it was released on the b-side track from their first album I think. Can't recall.

I've been waiting 5 months for my guy to come back to me because everytime we'd break up he always came back within a week.

I heard a rumour that they had a record label for Anxiety, but they screwd up and the album was never offical released. But like a couple of months ago you could download the album for free. Don't know how big Bottle was, im from Sweden. But they played Jesus Is The Manager some times on the radio here, and that was pretty cool! On the demosong on their myspace i hear no "pop-influences" and neither on the "Don't Ever leave"...but maybe you have heard other songs from the new album?

The lyrics can't be found because the song is quite rare. The only place you've might find it are @ the SES forum on their website. Anywayz the lyrics are pretty simple and easy to hear so write it down yourself ;D if you know english?

Ok, first of all: Their second album did not have a label behind it.
Second of all: Vultures had a label but a shit one.
Third of all: Do you know how big Bottom Of A Bottle was? It was a pretty damn popular song.
Fourth of all: Yes I said pop. Just like grunge did. They are hard rock with raw lyrics and some pop hooks. Sean would and has said the exact same thing to me.
And anyways, we shouldn't be arguing when we both love the band and both think they should be known.
