At 7:50 Jordan Peterson is wrong and ignorant. There are accounts of British Military Generals purposefully spreading disease in the Americas in order to wipe out the population.

    • @blackpanthar906
      @blackpanthar906 Рік тому

At the time of the Pontiac rebellion in 1763, Sir Jeffrey Amherst, the Commander-in-Chief of the British forces in North America, wrote to Colonel Henry Bouquet: *'Could it not be contrived to send smallpox among these disaffected tribes of Indians? We must use every stratagem in our power to reduce them.' The colonel replied: 'I will try to inoculate the [Native American tribe] with some blankets that may fall in their hands, and take care not to get the disease myself.'*
It has been alleged that smallpox was also used as a weapon during the American Revolutionary War (1775-83). During the winter of 1775-76, American forces were attempting to free Quebec from British control. After capturing Montreal, it looked as if they might succeed. But in December 1775, the British fort commander reportedly had civilians immunised against the disease and then deliberately sent out to infect the American troops. A few weeks later a major smallpox epidemic broke out in the American ranks, affecting about half of the 10,000 soldiers. They retreated in chaos after burying their dead in mass graves.

TBF, it is the restrictive conservative and fascistic elements of western society that mire it in the mud and cause the bloodshed and division. It's the liberal elements that drive society forward, often with people like Jordan Peterson loathing to be brought along for the ride and decrying the progress. Blaming liberalism for the failures of the west misses the point. It's nationalism, or any the belief that you are better by virtue of the tribe you were born (be it nation or religion) that causes the hubris required to turn a sword on your fellow man. Though I have no qualms about picking up a sword to defend myself from tyrants who have that hubris.
If we can get through crises and improve the education system such that voters are not taken in by con-men (like Jordan Peterson), then genuinely... liberalism and secularism is the best system we have currently, with democracy working at its best as a method to hold corrupt politicians to account. Religious pluralism also to ensure systems of thought don't remain closed, and that religious persecution can't take place in a legal way. The idea that there is one religious ideology or lifestyle that is one-size-fits-all and should apply to every human being, regardless of their background, or their various wishes for their life, is on the face of it, so absurd, you can hardly believe anyone can take it seriously. But it's what all religions seem to proclaim.
I agree though, western ideology can't fix all the world's problems. Though I don't know anyone who thinks it can. It just is better to other systems like theocracy that lead to religious persecution, or monarchy or imperialism which lead to the persecution of subjects.

Is the strategy not clear yet? He appears open-minded to make way for the bombshell later. First it was the live stream followed by the message to Muslims video. Now it's have a good discussion inside a mosque only to invade the alaqsa complex without invitation a little while afterward with the protection of Zionist colonialists. Engaging with him from now on is a shame to Muslims and the Palestinians especially. He's categorical about Zionism (maybe because it's a state that resonates with his own cultural and historical background). But Islam, it's 'complicated'.

What I always noticed about Peterson from the get go whilst everyone was amazed by him, was that he uses flowery in depth vocabulary which on the surface sounds highly intelligent however it only sends a simple point across when you actually deconstruct it.
This is a diversion from the content of what a person says in their argument so you are confused and overwhelmed if you are not receptive enough.
He’s just a clinical psychologist at the end of the day and while he does possess some skillful knowledge, let’s not inflate his ego by giving him more credit than he’s due.
Mohammad definitely dissected that illusive argument he always gives about non western civilisation. They do not take accountability for more than hundred years worth of colonialism and then proceed to criticise Islamic civilisation today which is not at an equal comparative level to begin with. Yes there are issues all over the world, is that a by product of religion or of ideologies infiltrating Muslim countries who do not even follow shari’ah correctly?

There is also a great hadith which indicates the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a truthful person.
Usually religions are associated with superstitious beliefs. Eclipses are famous for being so.
In the life time of prophet had a son named Ibrahim. Ibrahim died at a young age of two or three. The same day when the son died. There was an eclipse.
The muslims started saying that look, the son of the prophet died and the sky went dark. The sky is grieving. When the prophet Heard this he became angry with the muslims.
He said that the sun and the moon are signs of God and they don't worry themselves about the birth of a man and death of son of Muhammad.

Don't get me wrong, it's clear he's a thoughtful and intelligent individual with decent credentials, but I find I struggle to really connect with a lot of his work. I feel there's a lot of rambling and going off on tangents without clear or specific points being made. Almost like a lack of structure in what's being alluded to? Don't know how else to explain it. But I find him very, very overrated. Just my opinion.

He's just someone a common voice in the west, if he speaks what is common sense to any Muslim, about the flaws of West, he's praised and hyped because they think it's time to have a revolution, with all these isms and schisms taking place in the West. And that's why he's overrated, and I think he deliberately evaded this question, because maybe out of fear of being called out, either that or he's just speaking without thinking, but then it would contradict what Brother Hijab said, he claims he thinks before he tells something, and the so called "message" he had to the Muslims, was clearly him promoting the nonsense he believes in. It doesn't apply there, so basically it cannot apply here as well. He was just stalling and evading questions, and as if nobody would notice. It's kind of disappointing for someone like him as the West hails him to be. It's a joke of him lol. May Allah SWT give him hidayah Ameen.

Older, articulate gentleman in the mainstream w/ some conservative beliefs that naturally align w/ most men's instincts which have become rarer by the day on mainstream platforms.. Similar to the Andrew Tate effect.. now, combine that w/ alot of Joe Rogan which instantly multiplies anyone's popularity which compounds over time!

I haven't found more appropriate verses describing the state of Jordan Perterson than these:
    27. On that Day, the wrongdoer will bite his hands, and say, "If only I had followed the way with the Messenger.
    28. Oh, woe to me; I wish I never took so-and-so for a friend.
    29. He led me away from the Message after it had come to me; for the devil has always been a betrayer of man."
The Holy Qur'an, chapter: [The Criterion] Al-furqan
That's the reason why he didn't accept Islam till now after the all the facts and signs and miracles have come to him, it's because of the Friends of evil. but if wants to see the light then he must replace those friends with good ones who actually want him to get to paradise and want good for him.
