I completely disagree with you about Lexus needing a flagship luxury sedan. They absolutely do! Other wise the brand as a whole will be perceived as as diminishing by some. Think Acura or Infinity. The problem with the LS is it needed the V8! Also the interior of far to plain to compete with the europeans. The exterior more than held it’s own , the interior simply does not. In comparison to the European market, it’s quite dull and cramped. Both of which are fixable.
This LC+RC replacement is estimated by that article to be 1.5 billion yen (little over 100k USD at 148 yen/USD right now). These articles tend to be optimistic about the price so it'll be higher than that. US price probably will be even higher than the price in Japan assuming the car will be available in both markets. Example is the Toyota Crown while the USD has appreciated against the yen and stayed high for a fairly long time, Crown's price is calculated as if it is still at 115 yen/USD. So let's add about 20% premium to the 1.5 billion then use 115 yen/USD and you get price that is 156k for the _base_ model of this RC+LC replacement.
I want a new interior in the NX. I think the UX is better than the NX because it has a nicer interior. And that hatchback concept looks like a new CT.😍
It would be nice if they revived the LFA name one last time before they go all electric. Even if it’s limited production like the original. The LC500 just doesn’t do it for me.
lexus will totally take over the auto and self driving market cus they have the best ICE cars and best softwares and chips and everything that will kick everyone else
They need to improve the acceleration and mpg on the ES. So unless your ES is always going to be rolling down a steep hill (in both directions) I couldn't recommend it.
The IS needs to grow to GS size so real people with legs can sit in it. The ES can also grow in size too with the LS gone. I highly doubt Lexus will go fully electric by 2030. All manufacturers are pulling back. If anything every model will be hybridized by then.
If they make the new rc+lc it has to be lighter. They made great improvements on the rc with better handling later on but still heavy and a Frankenstein. If they get the wheelbase right with a lighter body, they will be golden. They were on the right path. 💁♂️ just no risks were taken for a long time.
They could do that sure, but here's the problem, how much will it cost for those changes? We've seen what lexus has done to the RCF with the track edition,so how much of a jump will the RCF's price take once they've done those changes afterward.
@carboydorifutoparty3976 probably try for the og pricing before covid. Top the line twin turbo v8 base. Hopefully 80k base car around IS pricing. 5k to 10k more probably. If not then they just got rid of a platform for nothing which i doubt. Time will tell.

Are they going to refresh the NX in 2025 on exterior? The 2024 RX LOOKSrelly nice.
for me Lexus lc is real supra 12:38
I want a new interior in the NX. I think the UX is better than the NX because it has a nicer interior. And that hatchback concept looks like a new CT.😍
The LF ZC looks really good to me.
Fun fact: The Lexus IS (and LFA) is the only Lexus model (as far as I know) that has not been touched by a hybrid system
There is an IS hybrid. FYI
I wonder how this electrifying is gonna go with how EVs are selling ATM
It would be nice if they revived the LFA name one last time before they go all electric. Even if it’s limited production like the original. The LC500 just doesn’t do it for me.
I want a GS sport sedan replacement with hybrid, plug-in hybrid and pure EV powertrains.
10:03 this 3d render looks exactly like the production lotus eletre
lexus will totally take over the auto and self driving market cus they have the best ICE cars and best softwares and chips and everything that will kick everyone else
I Love you Halo helmet 😍 and the pic of Toyota Land Cruiser and you RGB lights of you PC case.
Theres a Crown RWD sedan in Japan rn...that means a GS is likely making a return in some sort within the next few years
Really hope they don’t make the IS an EV/Hybrid only car. Was really hoping that they would put the TTV6 in the tundra into the IS
They need to improve the acceleration and mpg on the ES. So unless your ES is always going to be rolling down a steep hill (in both directions) I couldn't recommend it.
As long as they use performance petrol engines I’m good … we want our performance patrol vehicles here in the us
Save the v8’s
I don't want an ev
Fight the mandates then. There’s lots of them.
The IS needs to grow to GS size so real people with legs can sit in it. The ES can also grow in size too with the LS gone. I highly doubt Lexus will go fully electric by 2030. All manufacturers are pulling back. If anything every model will be hybridized by then.
Hopefully the new LC+RC replacement is a real M4/911 competitor this time.
I just wish Lexus would really create a set of vehicles to truly compete with the AMG's and M's. Lexus needs a HALO car.
They need to do a 230 inch sedan with 3 rows , thats real luxury
Tf😂😂😂😂😂
patiently waiting for the hybrid IS
What's the thumbnail?
The NX does need a majour refresh....
Oddly, the TZ looks like the new Acura ZDX and the new LC/RC coupe resembles the 2007 Acura Advanced Sports Car that was rumored to be the NSX successor (but did not happen).
