    The guaranteed damage boss attack is confirmed to be a *bug,* and firing *much* faster than it should be (based on your framerate, and mine is _very_ high). It is being fixed, and should be by the time the game is out! Didn't stop a bunch of people without access to the game from telling me I was just playing wrong, but now we have proof something was _very wrong_ with the attack so a big retroactive lol.

      to be honest, I honestly don't think the devs played their game haha. Difficulty 4-5 completely outscaled you on at least 95% of the builds I have tried out. The game feels unfinished, unbalanced, and unfinished. These type of games are supposed to boost your dopamine levels in quick intervals but I haven't really gotten any sense of progression playing the game. The game is to be fully released the 12th/13th which I am completely worried about so far given how much work is still needed to optimize the potential of the game. If the game entered early access, this would help improve the game tremendously through playerbase feedback and that the fact the game still have time to grow until the full release, but this early full release has been an ambitious path for them. A demo imo is not enough to balance the game around. A player looking at difficulty 5 can fully understand that.

      Extremely glad to hear! I am slightly confused by the difficulty 2 of 5 being the _highest_ level part, are the others not in the game?

      @@Retromation Sorry I meant "higher" xD. We have just found a bug that when player is not using V-Sync, the bullet will travel extremely fast (which is this case). We will be fixing this ASAP!

      @@ArchmageGamesStudio Completely understandable, just making sure because if there were only 2 implemented currently that would _also_ change how I think about balance. However, the V-Sync bug makes SO MUCH more sense. Like I mentioned it felt completely _unintentionally_ difficult. Not just hard, but _wrong._ Glad to hear it was! If you could let me know here when that fix is in maybe I'll take another look!

    I like watching you play this, but its more fun when you're having fun. Boss seems like it was a force kill for the demo that never got re tuned

    Yeah, that 20th floor boss, wow. Yet again today, I was kind of thinking you got yourself another pretty-good-busted build, and... no! I think the DEVS have something kind of fun here, they just need to balance that boss's attacks just a hair. It's still entertaining to watch though, just needs some balancing.

    I imagine they are having a hard time balancing not only the positive and negative stats of the items but also the the size and shape of the items like the thing that gave 25% damage takes as a negative its size, its shape and the more enemies(i think) so a one space item has worse stats because its easier to fit. Not sure if thats why but it is what it feels like

      I have no idea who that is, but if you're telling the truth it is off-putting they would blast me for not beating a difficulty because of a bug, feels like you should have let them know that part lol.
      I also am not a big fan of the _way_ you brought that information to me in an attempt to get me to play again.
      Edit: Especially since I just found his VoD and that _isn't_ what he said, that _really_ rubs me the wrong way. He said a few things, but that wasnt one of them lol.

    If that is the second difficulty boss I can only imagine what the other bosses will be like. Seemed like a really great premise to the genre. Hopefully the developers fix this game.

    staff of fireball 16 dps when cross 120, you better look at dps stat)

      that doesn't factor in the AoE, but yeah pretty clear that cross is kinda busted

    Definitely looks like they wanted 20 levels cause that's what other games in the genre do, but they don't take into account how long item management can add to the experience. I like the idea of arranging items into a bag, but only being able to slot our 1 at a time sounds far too tedious. No thanks. Unfortunate that final boss looks so devastating. And for it to take a full hour just to get there.

    I like the concept of this game but the meta unlocks are tedious. Let me just play a wizard up front. And that boss is awful.

    1 cell item gives +5% damage, 4 cell item gives 25% damage. Completely unbalanced...😅

    Is level 20 just the end of the demo?

      Level 20 seems to be the actual end of each sequence, much like in Brotato, you fight a final boss at 20, just which one is set by the difficulty.

    the game needs better balance, both in item stats, prices and the bosses. that boss is dumb

    I hope you dont quit the game. This game seems really fun, however the idea of item forcing is not great. If they do change the boss then they will remove the major problem of feeling forced to play a certain way, which I think will make the game even more fun. A little tweaking to the boss and maybe some item stats and this game will be great.
