The LX-24 is really impressive!
Warning: FanBoy talking: Arturia are the absolute greatest musical software/hardware company. Always offering such great products, value, and quality...and their new Rev LX-24 was no different. Truly, this is the Reverb plugin I've been waiting for. The sound quality is amazing and the control over the various reverb parameters is unmatched...while still being so easy to use. NICE!!!!
Amen brother. Arturia has the best system, no BS subscriptions, best preset management and update center, and so on!
They do seem to be nailing it recently! I'm a big fan of Pigments and the EFX granular plugin. Some great free plugins too, like the tape one and Juno chorus. Tempted to get this depending on the price.
Also big thumbs up to their loyalty and upgrade offers!! Definitely feels that customers are rewarded for their continued support. Arturia is just about the only company I'm happy to purchase from outside of the yearly Black Friday sales - you know you're getting your money's worth every time!
@@keenanlevis4981I'm with you on that. Maybe Roland can learn a thing or two from Arturia.
The visualizer is genius! And thanks for the beautiful sounds Lena 💯
I wish you guys made the "classic" UI smaller and didn't waste screen space for a tabletop render
I think the table allows you to switch to the advanced UI without the overall size changing.
Well said, would love a classic UI option.
In all the new versions of Arturia plugins you can choose the size of the interface, between 50% and 200%, with 10% increments. I don't have this Reverb yet, but I do have all the others, I guess it's the same in that.
Can you save settings
Usually that kind of UI design would really bug me, but at least they gave us the modern interface as well. It's so much nicer.
I don't understand why so many plugin manufacturers insist on copying the layout designed for hardware.
Excited for this!
Thanks 🙏🏽 guys we much appreciated 💯
It was just a couple of weeks ago I was wondering if Arturia would make a lexicon reverb emulation, and now they have delivered.
Awesome!!!🌟🌟💯💯
Great demo
I love it! I love you guys!
Superb!
Love it. Need a RMX next
Hell yeah!
"Timeless" = All my favorite 80s songs :-) ... WANT.
Legendary 😉
So nice ❤❤
Ooo I can’t wait to put this on some gates drums
My first thought was that I wouldn't need this cause i already have rev intensity, but then I watched this video..... Welp, the added loyalty discount on top of the already discounted price for the release came in handy haha
nice one Arturia keep it going
Looks cool! Love the other Arturia plugins. 480 and PCM90 when?
there's 480 pictures at the beginning of this video, maybe it's coming soon?
I think, as it's an emulation of hardware, most of us are wondering how close it is. That's why we love Arturia emulations! So a blind comparison, as Cherry Audio did, would be fun and useful to hear how it compares. I love the sound and think Arturia make exemplary products but would really love more info about products and how/why they're chosen and developed. All the reviews say the same 'vague' stuff, and surely Arturia have studied the units they replicate extensively. It's all over David Byrne's 'Songs from the Catherine Wheel', I think.
Very close in the Vintage 12 mode. What's more impressive, though, is the improvements over the original in not only the additional modes, but options in the advanced tab. I'm a reverb fanatic who buys everything that comes out, and spends ridiculous amounts of time coaxing each to do its best... and this has rapidly become my most used reverb for drums and instrument sounds.
ooooo looking forvard to fx collection 4
Please add a advanced mode on the awesome Pre 1973 , to see the frequency 😇
What do you mean, you already can see the Hz and dB when hovering your mouse over the knobs?
@@dubiousdaydream1695 i mean like on the eq eight on ableton ;) . To see what we cut or add
@@pihenhenripi4430 oh like a frequency analyzer? (Don't use Ableton)
@@dubiousdaydream1695 yeah that what I mean !!! :)
For an EQ that is designed for broad tone shaping rather than fine details, I actually think it's advantageous not having a frequency analyser. It's so easy to fall into the trap of making decisions based on how it looks.
However, if you just want to get an idea of the shape of the curves to help you learn what you're listening for, there's a free plugin by Bertom Audio called 'EQ Curve Analyzer'.
Might not be quite what you're after, but worth checking out if you just want a visual representation to help you understand what an EQ is doing.
Pultec EQ and SSL Bus Comp please!!!
👏👏👏
The story goes that the registry number on Vangelis's control unit was 0002
Who owned 0001 ?
@@hettovennik2887 probably Lexicon in-house device
@@andivax Yeah, has to be :-)
One LX-24 and two beers, please...🙂
Lovely reverb (as all of the Arturia ones are) just a bit confused why they also show the later 480 in the intro spiel.
I was wondering this as well, especially since I haven't really seen a plugin version of the 480... was hoping they'd have some kind of button to switch to that mode
It's nice but I'd really like an update to the keystep pro
Could please fix your fx plugins that they can load the nks presets on m1 it’s really annoying this is why I bought your fx collection to use it nicely within Maschine ❤
Question: At least in Ableton Live, there is a constant "floor" on when using as a send and the dry/wet all the way up and locked. It's a small footprint, but it's not normal for a send with any other verb I have. Should I contact support?
it's part of the plugin but def annoying
0:45 & 0:56 Oops they put some 480 LARC remote control footages at the beginning of the 224 video, mistake? 480 spoiler? who knows :)
What's the difference between 'Main' and 'Alternative' outputs under routing?
Doesn't look like the manual is available yet and I only skipped through the video so sorry if I missed it.
Hi there, thank you for reaching out. You're in luch, the manual is now available and you can find it at this link: www.arturia.com/products/software-effects/rev-lx-24/resources.
The Rev LX-24 has switchable main and alternative outputs, while the original Lexicon 224 has two additional outputs that vary based on the selected algorithm. For certain algorithms, the additional outputs provide 4-channel surround for use with Quadrophonic format, while for others, they duplicate the main left and right signals with reversed stereo.
You can find out more about this in the p. 25. Hope you find the manual helpful! Best
What is the piano VST at 1:30?
Well No words to waste praising how good this is...
Lets get to the point Arturia...
When's the LX 480 / SONY DVR / Bricasti M gonna come our way... ? 😎
When is it available ?
Looks like it's on the site already, I'm just waiting to get home to DL.
Thank you
First off, very nice playing and singing. So many "examples" on youtube are just boring (td) I think that not only was the vid informative, but the way the examples are done are clear and w/o clutter. Second, this might be the best sounding, easy to use, and yet feature rich verb I've ever used. And with what I already own, the price @ 29 bones is outrageously cheap. Pretty sure I'm pulling the trigger at that price tonight (lemme play juuuust a little while longer, I have SO MANY verbs! ) Frankly, I can see myself spending the majority of "tweaking" in the "advanced" GUI.
The downside is that my new DAW (Live) reports high CPU use (though with that sound, not unexpected) which has me a tad worried. The plug itself only reports 10%, but it seems to hit Live quite a bit more than anything else I own/use. (Ryzen 7900x, so a bit surprised still) Also, though there are upsides to the way Arturia "demos", I'm also finding that limitation.....limiting.
Then again, back to that price. It's cheap for what it does and sounds even if I didn't have the loyalty discount :) I love Arturia, I don't use everything in the "collections" but it's great to have variety and frankly, I haven't had to toss much coin for the great great stuff.
Yeah, I couldn't live w/o it (yes, I'm hopeless lol)
Will the LX-24 be included as part of FX Collection 3?
Sam I just logged onto the Arturia website Products/My Account and because I have the FX Collection 3 they offered me a Cross grade to Rev LX-24 for $29.00.
I wouldn't bet on it. Typically when Arturia releases new products are after a collection, they can be added at a lower price by current collection owners, and show up in the next collection release (in this case, probably FX Collection 4). Look at the SQ80 or Augmented Strings for example.
29€ for fx collection 3 users it seems
Ok.. I'll try again.. Dear Arturia.. Will the LX-24 be included as part of FX Collection 3?
@@samsmith6521 No. But it will be a part of FX Collection 4, along with the FILTER MS-20. As stated earlier, there are special prices for registered users.
Lexicon and on and on
Anyone know the synth patch she's using at 6:08? 😍
Hi Alex, this one is called "Soft Wood" and comes from Analog Lab!
@Arturia thanks so much, love you guys!
I don't understand why the wooden UI takes that much screen real estate rather than the usable interface, it's annoying.
Arturia sure has some talented employees
Hell yeah?
you make some nice products, but some of the most boring reviews of your products.
