@@clown134more likely it’ll be similar to the MS-20 filter plug-in which was free at first, and stayed free to everyone who claimed it, and is now a paid plugin to new users.

You're right, it is absolutely not a "flashy marketing short" bullshit that you can hear and read each time a new plugin comes out in this world. This makes a great chorus sound on guitar, very warm and lush for a software effect.The harmoniser and comb filter are fun too, so overall I think it's excellent for a free plugin. Cheers Arturia!

Two pop artists that have used a wave form widening are Eminem and Pjnk and they have done for decades, not sure how they do it but this plugin can easily do that popular vocal effect.
@@HOLLASOUNDS Thanks! I don't suppose you happen to know what the refraction stage of REFRACT actually does? I was wondering whether it does some sort of multiband split, which is one trick that's sometimes used for stereo processing.

Can you use the HP filter to only affect the frequencies after the cutoff to keep your bass signal focused and free from phasing? It sounds like it's a post filter that just removes low frequencies entirely.
The high pass is pre-effect, but the plugin doesn't pass the raw low frequency signal. You need to use a separate frequency splitter plugin and route only the high frequency out of that into Refract to get what you want.

ISSUES with installation. I downloaded and installed via ASC, as well as activated but I do not see it installed in my applications (using a Mac)?! I "uninstalled" and reinstalled and see it download and install and it shows as activated. Am I missing something? Please advice, this looks and sounds amazing, thank you for this early Xmas gift! Arturia!
UPDATE: This behavior is happening even when I install other plug-ins - it shows that it installed another plug in but it nowhere to be found in my applications. Any advice?
UPDATE2: I see that I misunderstood how plug-ins work, I see it now listed in Logic Pro and was able to use it. Please forgive me, I'm a newbie/dweeb! :LOL
