Yeah. I have Photophobia, it's real pain to look at big white wall for me. Coldfire, Fragments, now this.
As i know, a lot of producers work in the dark, and only-White interface is totally disreapectful

It'd be great to see/hear demos like this on simple chords and instruments to get a realistic sense of what the plugin is doing rather than making already glitchy material sound even more glitchy.
You watched an intro tutorial for complex examples??
@@mycosys Just saying I'd rather hear a 1 bar chord or note with the plugin applied to get a better sense of how the plugin is altering the sound. If the material is already glitchy then it seems more difficult to get a strong sense of what the plugin is really doing.
The examples on the Arturia product page are always useful for that, fwiw, @@avokyu

i like the plugin but please for the love of god add dark mode
I’m a fan of Arturia but these audio examples were just dreadful. Bland, worn-out, run-of-the-mill sounds that did more to turn me off the plugin than to pique my interest. I will try it for myself but first impression, based solely on this video: dull and formulaic. Has Arturia lost it’s creative spark? Maybe they should bring in Hainbach as a creative consultant if they’ve run out of ideas.
Why TF again a Light themed Plugin WITHOUT the option of a Dark Theme? LITERALLY unsuable in dark studio environment! I don't want to get blind everytime I open the plugin ffs!
and FYI: dark mode doesn't mean it has to be pitch black.. but a big white area will hurt and light up the whole (dark) room

Great if you are already in the Arturia ecosystem and don't yet have Infiltrator 2 👍.
Who makes infiltrator 2?
Would you say this is compatible with Infiltrator 2?
@Mind-Over-Body hey there. Not sure if you meant comparable, but if that then sure. Less deep than Infiltrator 2, but still plenty of modulation for a track. I just don't think you need to spend the money if you already have Infiltrator 2.
@@SixteenVoiceMaybe the workflow of efx Motion might suit some better than Infiltrator. And also, so what if someone has this and Infiltrator? Do you just have one plugin of everything? I'm sure you have multiple reverbs, delays, compressors etc.
So basically Shaperbox, Effectrix, and Infiltrator mixed into one. However, an important thing that Shaperbox has and EFx Motions lacks is that in Shaperbox the frequency range screen is per effect instead of global, and not only that but Shaperbox's frequency range screen is literally a band splitter that splits the sound into 3 bands and each band gets its own shape and settings.
This is a great plugin as always from Arturia I've just bought it and its totally awesome.

So basically, Ableton is just like Logic, which is just like Cubase which is just like Pro Tools, which is just like Reason which is just like Bitwig blah blah blah. Every plug-in has a competitor that does something similar. It’s called competition.

@@dannyvalentino328 Pump the brakes, my dude. They were just pointing out other plugins with similar functionality. They weren't throwing shade at Arturia for making something similar to what already exists. With Effectrix 2 just releasing too, we're a bit spoilt for choice right now.
I pretty much use arturia for everything, except this. Reason being i have infiltrator 2, which is godly too me.
There's no dark mode, we don't buy. We are still ignored by Arturia!
Other than some cool sequencing and nice-looking macro options, is this basically a clone of Infiltrator and Shaperbox? :)
(Not a bad thing, those are my favorite plugins; just not sure what extra value I can expect from it).

I've hated white and bright interfaces for years. The eyes hurt a lot!! Can you make a dark background? Because of this nightmarish brightness, I doesn't want to buy it. It's 2023, not 2010. 😢

Why only 6 effects? This would be so much cooler if you would have included every effect from a to z…

My big wish for this would be more external control options - any hope of a midi shaper alternative with the glory of Arturia sequencing in V Collection (Seems like where it belongs)?
Also the ability to load your own noises and IRs like ShaperBox - thats the killer app for it (to me - its easy to algorithmically generate custom reverbs these days, and i wanna try feeding back cabinet and amp impulses with an envelope) but that lack of polyryhthym almost makes it a no still, esp when this exists.
(any hope of minibrute 2s getting the bar alternation options? it was why i went SQ64 over Beatstep Pro - that and i already had beatstep and 2S for one knob per step basic step sequencing into SQ64/DAW and neither have the resolution i wanted for micropitch and off beat notes.)
Definitely buying FX Collection, its been almost a must have for a while now, this clinches it.

Freezing my DAW when open plugin,i try in Cubase,Fl Studio,Reaper and Reason ,reinstalled and same problem,anyone have this?
Guess everyone is biting Shaperbox now, At least Devious Machines take sounds amazing.... wonder if arturia adds anything unique to the concept

One example of what I like is how you did the sequencer section on MS-20 filter. Great contrast neon, buttons that look like their text is back-lit, extending to the waveform graph.
It looks strong, powerful, cutting edge, fun and easy on the eyes. All the things that I think EFX motions is, and can be.

Looks great! Waiting on an update to the MiniFreak before I buy anything else from them, You can't just put out a crazy good synth like the MiniFreak, and not have one update in a year, and expect us to continue to spend money with your company. At least put out a statement of what might be coming out soon. Love you guys, but feeling left out while you are updating the older MicroFreak, and not a word on the MiniFreak.
I love watching all these new plugins that won't install on my OS 10.11 Mac cheese grater pro , the amount of money I've saved is amazing.
Not to tempt you to spend money, but I currently have the demo version running on my OS 10.11 machine and am now, personally, very tempted to make the purchase. So far, it seems to be stable and it installed without issue. Also have several other effects rom Arturia spec'd for 10.13 that run perfectly well.
In contrast, the Cherry Audio synths I recently purchased will not even install - thankfully, I can at least use them on a much less powerful, quite literally falling apart, and must be plugged in to run, OS 10.13 laptop that was given to me.

Sure, if you like 4/4. & I'm sure Arturia's effect chain is identical and not TAE. Definitely the same.
The GUI is a bit pasty Need some skins to fix its ugliness.
Arturia has had high quality stuff thus far, but the Efx and Augmented series are cheap shots. Efx is recombinations of their existing fx code in various combinations with an automation UI. And Augemented are glorified sampler players, with cheapo sounds that could very well have been Pigment libraries or something. They add those just to say "Here are 2-3 new apps, update the V Collection / FX Collection to get them". I'd rather they created more original Fx apps like Rev Intensity, instead of half arsed stuff like Efx Motion. Or they could create more emulations of classic gear.
Why change effects that already sounds good? This is about workflow and approaching these effects in a new way. I think is great and the only thing that slightly bothers me is that it´s a rather flagrant copy of shaperbox
You easily could recreate most of those effects in Ableton Live or Bitwig alone but in the end it is the a question of how we prefer to do things. I like those kind of plugins.
@@rez9159 You could easily recreate any plugin in this DAW or that DAW, so maybe they should all just stop making plugins. Just following your "logic." What you don't seem to understand is that one, even if you could recreate these effects in whatever DAW you have, not everyone has or uses that DAW. And while all these effects can be created in a DAW's stock plugin, you wouldn't be able to do it as quickly and efficiently as with a dedicated plugin like this one. Never in a million years. It's all about workflow, not just raw capabilities. That's what plugins bring to the table...the good ones any way. Being able with one click, to manipulate several different effects in one package in the form of a preset, by passing which ones you don't want and using the ones you want, rearranging them and manipulating their individual and global parameters in just one device. Added to this is that since it's a plugin, it'll work in any DAW you have and whatever computer you have and it will work exactly the same in every situation. None of that applies to Bitwig or Ableton or any DAW for that matter.
@@dannyvalentino328I think you got me wrong. I agree and i also ended my post with "i like those plugins" (for the reasons you mentioned) My comment was a reply to the OP that wasn't happy about Arturia is basically "recycling" its own FX.
For me it's about workflow too. I mentioned Ableton because almost everything is possible but in the end it is not about what you can do but how you can do it. 90% of modern FX VST are based on something old in a new combination and only some mixing and mastering tools utilizing AI / machine learning technologys we couldn't recreate with stock plugins..

Yet another boringly geeky set of recycled controls, much like Fragments. Come on Arturia, where's all the "must-have-that" design flair gone? This is for mathematicians, not musicians, and certainly not something that makes me want to upgrade to the next FX suite.
This is totally perfect for my digital experiment music that I make as you say mathematicians all the way, I give it a 10.
