Meredith loved Lexie. Meredith was devestated when she died. Meredith didn’t even shed a tear when her mother died. I think Ellis should’ve been called Lexie or Alexandra!

She didn't cry because she watched her mother disappear with her disease. Her death released Ellis from her hell, so it was a relief. Meredith was prepared for it. Lexie's death was a shock.
This is so heartbreaking first Meredith looses her mom then she looses Lexie and then Derek she’s probably one of the characters that suffered the most loss in this show it just hurts every time and yet she manages to pull threw she’s definitely one of the strongest characters on this show
