Lexie was the most precious bean and also a badass. Everyone loved and liked her, not just Meredith. Derek looked out for her, Cristina and Alex teased her, Bailey and Webber treated her like an additional daughter. Not to mention Mark, who never stopped loving her. She was the light to Meredith’s dark. Cristina understood her, but Lexie taught her selflessness and how to learn to love. I miss Lexie and Mark, they were adorable, funny, lovable characters

Jo is more mer than Lexie tbh. She sees her own darkness. Hey I could be wrong but I feel Lexie was more a character with light with shades of grey or sometimes black. jo or mer weren't not that they had force themselves to see the light.

I actually hate this scene because there was so much more to her than being her "kid sister". Why didn't they make her say "my younger half-sister, Lexi. I only got to know her in adulthood but we grew really close. I loved her". Just some more than this half sentence...

The amount of patience Lexie has for Meredith to really get close to her is commendable. The death of Lexie and Cristina's departure made me stopped watching Greys Anatomy. Greys Anatomy definitely has the best background scores to add stories and emotions in the scenes.

If Lexie hadn't died Meredith would always have someone to lean on since Cristina left and Derek died, (except Alex) Lex would have been a great emotional support, I don't despise Amy and Maggie as sisters, but Lexie was unique to Mer. I agree with you. After a while she became Meredith she is. She's fully aware that if she continued to treat Lexie like she did for longer time she'd end up like Elis which she doesn't like to happen. A lot of growth happened with her character. She's in pain. She had a past which wouldn't be that easy to understand for people who haven't experienced it first hand or at least haven't given much time to even think about it.

She deserved so much better. Her death was brutal. And she was an amazing character. And it’s so weird to think of Chyler Leigh hardly gets the recognition for her role as Lexie Grey even now, and yet her character truly is STILL the heart of a show she’s no longer apart of. I hope we get to see Lexie on the beach or at least see Chyler reprise her role as Lexie at least in some way before the show ends.
I don’t know if anyone has ever seen supergirl, but Chyler Lee (Lexi) plays Alex, Karas (supergirl) sister and Lexi is just as caring and selfless has Alex. She is so sweet and kind and I think that no matter what role she plays she will always be so sweet kind and beautiful! ❤️

Man I remember how much those plane crash episodes had me sobbing! And for me when mark and Lexi died it was the beginning of the end. Their deaths already made the show suffer greatly then add in Christina leaving and the final nail,Derek's death. After that I said done and haven't watched since expect for a clip here or there. And knowing how Alex character leaves I'm glad I stopped watching years prior. The show needs to end! Really did love however when mer finally let Lexi in and allowed herself to love her sister! Also really loved Lexi and Derek's relationship as brother and sister as well!
I rewatched Greys for the third time but this time i paid attention to Lexi and Meredith. I loved how she practically forced herself at Meredith to know her because she knew she’d love her if she really gotten to know her. I just got to the last episode of season 8 and I can’t watch it. I follow Greys Anatomy very much. Almost watched twice the entire show and still watching. No doubt, Lexie was amazing and her consistent efforts made Meredith let her guards down and made her a better person.

This dynamic is so reflective of a challenging sister relationship, marked in particular by how they each grew up; the absence of a parent to one, fueled by the presence of a parent to another. It’s very sad but very real/well done…

Man I remember how much those plane crash episodes had me sobbing! And for me when mark and Lexi died it was the beginning of the end. Their deaths already made the show suffer greatly then add in Christina leaving and the final nail,Derek's death. After that I said done and haven't watched since expect for a clip here or there. And knowing how Alex character leaves I'm glad I stopped watching years prior. The show needs to end! Really did love however when mer finally let Lexi in and allowed herself to love her sister! Also really loved Lexi and Derek's relationship as brother and sister as well!

I rewatched Greys for the third time but this time i paid attention to Lexi and Meredith. I loved how she practically forced herself at Meredith to know her because she knew she’d love her if she really gotten to know her. I just got to the last episode of season 8 and I can’t watch it. Because everything changed after. And Maggie is cool off course but I loved the chemistry between Lexi and Mer. And Lexi had something awkward about her that Meredith loved and Maggie can be annoying sorry lol

I follow Greys Anatomy very much. Almost watched twice the entire show and still watching. No doubt, Lexie was amazing and her consistent efforts made Meredith let her guards down and made her a better person.
I wish they had the scene in season 8 when everyone was using lexipedia and Meredith was like "No, no more using Lexie like a dictionary, we broke her, we broke my sister," That was my favorite Mer/Lexie moment.

My friends always say I remind them of Lexie Grey, we all watch the show and Lexie has always been my favourite. I will never stop mourning her death on the show and I just love mark. I really hope they make an appearance on the beach. 💕
Still to this day I don’t understand why Christina was so disrespectful and mean to Lexie when literally she based it off of Meredith and still didn’t know her, and I don’t get why Meredith didn’t say anything when Christina was saying all of that
well as for christina, as you know she is naturally selfish at the start plus the fact that burke just dumped her on the altar at their wedding. she was selfish, and also stressed. as for meredith, it's just her background with greys. her mother never treated her right except for that one time in her death imagination or sumn, her 'fake' mother whom she was all warm with but died on her watch, and thatcher who were all mad at her and slapped her and blamed her when he learned that his wife died. to sum it all, they're a bitch with sad backgrounds.
Both Meredith and Christina were both assholes to Lexie in the beginning, and both Bailey and Derek had to checked them both on that.
