I miss repo. I used to do a lot of driving to look for vehicles before the tech we have now. If I could find something in my area I would love to do it again!
I remember before Matthew Pitman had the F550 Ninja he used the stealth GMC Stallion. Kept the equipment stashed in the rear behind snap on leather flaps. circa 08 -2012 iirc did not have the power or capacity of a snatch truck or flatbed but for sheer stealth. .. it worked well. Each design has pros and cons. Working alone it's choose one. As a team you get choices. Keep safe out there.
For the private tows, like illegal parking and pulling folks out of ditches, they will cover the plates. Impounded cars are a different matter, the violations are public records, so they don't have to cover or blur the plates.
I used to repo. My wrecker had a decal that said "Why are you pissed at me? I didn't miss your payment."

Our F150 died in our driveway. Had a tow guy come out. He is a big Towtrucker fan like us. It was great.

Everything Autos In Tennessee have plate covers they put over the license tag. Just an idea.
I was just thinking about that too. Kristen made them. She also made the windows for the Polaris & cover for the jack. She's good at that stuff!
