@@remedyofficialvlogs47 I have been using ddhifi adapters that converts 4.4mm to 3.5mm (Model: dj44c). They are of high quality and well built. They have released the 2023 version (dj44cpro) and is priced slightly more expensive.
@@remedyofficialvlogs47 same, I use ddhifi 4.4 to 3.5 for my mest indigo. sounds amazing with the right dac, even better than 4.4 on my desktop amp without the adapter (just depends on synergy with source). in fact, on my desktop amp, i have 3.5 to 6.35 and 2.5 to XLR adapters. do note that there are cheaper ones that ppl say sounds the same as ddhifi, but i haven't personally used those (though i don't doubt them). If you want to opt for a cable adapter (which means different cable material may or may not alter sound sig), I recommend the Venture Electronics Adapter Cable 4.4 to 3.5SE, and it's only $15.
@@Viewer13128 Clean, beautifully done neutral sounding, superb details, that rumbly sub bass from Bone Conduction driver that gives me a unique perspective. VE Erlkonig was supposed to be my favourite TOTL but now it was displaced by Fu Sang. The most significant difference i must say is in the separation, imaging, and overall soundstage. A difference of 10-15% being mkiii better. The ultra high frequencies too are much more emphasized with mkiii opening a lot of micro details. The Est drivers are really a feat in the mkiii. Not to mention the bone conduction that gives the lows a realistic rumble that can be felt and not just heard. Thanks for watching and the support!!
Hi, thanks for the video. I have my 3 years old MEST OG (MK1), and it is still rocking hard. Just the treble is very spicy to me, therefore pairing it with warm sources like IFi Go Bar and IFi Go Blu just prefect for me, still one of my favourite iem so far up to this moment. The MEST OG is also known for the incoherence in drivers, but I enjoyed it especially with Ochestra as the sound coming from various direction, while MEST MK2 has solve the incoherence issue and has better bass response with smoother not so spicy treble. Just wandering, what's the sonic/tuning/technical different between MK3 and OG? And is it a step up from MK2?
hmmmm let's see. The OG mest is known and commended for its soundstage. And a trusted friend commented that when he tried mkiii at singapore canjam, mkiii surpasses the mkii on technicalities. So far that's my info on comparisons between all mest variants. 😊
I have IER Z1R and MEST MK2 but never had a chance to try the MK1 (out of stock)- for me the MEST MK2 has better bass response, much bigger bass much stronger sub bass rumble too but soundstage is more 3D in the Z1R Getting MEST MK3 I hope they improve upon the MEST Indigo and have the same sub bass rumble
@@remedyofficialvlogs47 not that bassy and mids not that great I think you will love the FATfreq Mini more or the SE or the Grand! Those have better mids

much love from Indonesia ❤

thanks for the sincere review. "Never-ending rabbit hole"👍👍
I'm very much happy when you guys feel my sincerity in my videos. It's what matters most for me. And yes... It is a never ending rabbit hole. 😆
4:36 I agree modular cables are much more convenient. Have you considered using 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapters instead of swapping the cable constantly?
Hmmm can you point me towards brands that is reliable for such adapters?

very good for music listening
Unique Melody products speaks for themselves. I've tested the Mest MK.II and Mason Fu Sang. Fu Sang is now my top favourite IEM of all time.
what are the highlights of Fu Sang and which other TOTL, if any, did you prefer it over?

@@fernandesfernandes5997 Sony Z1R's bass is more prominent and a bit boomy. Not a fan of its tuning though due to recessed and lean midrange.

nice and comprehensive review man...wondering if it is too far ahead of studio 4 or difference is subtle?

They look somehow cheap, Mest II are much more interestingly decorated.
Somehow i agree. The design ok the mk2 had more appeal to me. Nonetheless these are not that bad in terms of looks.
yea they are looking worse, that gold frame instead of looking good it makes it looks like cheap chinese toy

Now that u mention it, sax is indeed a reed instrument. I was just generalising the basic 3 pc brass section. 😊
