I love that he shows with mouse and tablet. This channel give me the push to get the tablet but I remember what that pesky mouse was like and having a guide on how to handle it was certainly helpful on several occasions. I am soooo happy I took the leap for a Wacom though
Hi Aaron years ago I saw you do a photo restoration with your mom and I was wondering if you could show an updated version of that. I'd really like to learn how to enlarge, color correct, and fix imperfections. Thanks!
Excelente efecto y buenas calidad al crear el pincel. Gracias por compartir son mas de 15 años siguiendo sus tutoriales y siempre hay algo nuevo e interezante para seguir creando.
Question for you - you have used a pressure sensitive tablet in many videos - which one do you use and would you recommend it for use in a High school classroom that primarily teaches photography but uses Photoshop for all digital edits?
Looks good. You sure make it look easy, but it's not so straightforward trying first time. I shot suitable clouds managed to do most OK but kept running into slight issues eg when starting out my cloud was called 'background' but that throws up differences that go away if re-naming to layer-0. Currently I'm stuck trying to define a brush as my 'define brush preset' is greyed out. It's the occasional little 'gotcha' like this that makes progress slow until I can figure out the what or why for my differences. But will persevere. Now doing further checking online (not within PS help, unhelpfully) I discovered that my base image at 6000px is too big for a brush preset (upper limit is I believe 2500px), so reducing my own DIY cloud selection to 2400px on long edge, then enables 'define brush preset' to be ungreyed out - so I can again continue. But this is just typical of the frustration here as many steps won't 'just work' and require a workaround to fix, before progressing to the next 'gotcha'. I will get there eventually and learn, but it can be a bit slow and painful to start. That I guess is what learning, insight and eventually skill is all about. If it were pretty easy then more folk would be doing this.
I need to change the color of these clouds to match the tone of the photo but I have no idea how, adding an adjustment layer with a clipping mask does nothing
hi, i am using photoshop CS5 and i followed every step but still when ever i try to define the brush preset the option is just not enabled although define pattern is fine pls help :(

Thanks for another great tutorial. Can you explain why you use overlay on the brush tool when making the custom brush tool?

Size jitter is not on the latest version of PS :(
Where can i find the links to download the photos ?
In the description! Or here: phlearn.com/tutorial/create-fog-brush-photoshop/
sort of seems like the brush shape doesn't really matter much because of all the dynamics that randomized it.
