CMY Cube Review - The CRAZY Multi-Colored Physics Desk Toy

Review of the CMY Cube which is a beautiful desk toy and fidget toy that makes brilliant colors. This 50 mm (~ 2") acrylic cube leverages physics with the mixing of colors and refraction and make some amazing combinations. This is not a true crystal prism, dichroic prism, nor a trichroic prism, but rather this cube looks amazing even without a bright light source shining through it.
The cube makes for a great desk toy, paperweight, and even works for light fidgeting. This makes for a great conversation piece as well.

Great demonstration of refraction, but as far as I can tell, the colour mixing actually happens when light reflects internally in the cube and hits more than one filter.
This means that if you find the faces that have the filters on them, cover them with something white like paper, and then look into the cube from the uncovered side, the colour mixing will become more apparent because more of the light is being reflected back into the cube.
