  • Today I install a 1 1/2 “ leveling kit on the 2021 Ford F 250 Tremor. There’s a little trial and error but with a creatively I get the job done. Join me on this adventure and learn what not to do.

    I do believe that in all of the videos I’ve ever watched which involve installing lift or level kits that this is the first I’ve ever seen that was done in a storage unit, or without jack stands.

    Ratchet straps are handy when working on suspension and exhaust systems. When I do mine, I think I will get a track bar bracket also to center the axle. Did it move your axle with the 1.5" lift?

      @@hd114ul7 A spring compressor would have been a lot Better,some times you just have to make it work. I did have to adjust the steering arm to straighten the steering wheel.

      The level kit I used I just got from Amazon and it seemed as good as any of the others. Thanks for watching

    IT appears everything went great! I contacted Readylift and they said they "did Not" recommend this kit for the Tremor. I asked for an explanation but I wondered if you had any thoughts.

      I don’t know. The Tremor has a limited slip front end I wonder if that can put extra twist and torque on the axel. A spring replacement would probably be better.

      @@adventureswiththetoddfather how is yours holding up? I don't plan to do any "Rock crawling" but I do some hauling and some light off roading.

      I have done some pretty good off reading with no issues. I think I’ll crawl under and check everything for tightness however.
      Thanks for watching the channel.

    Did you have to get an alignment after this? Did you notice your tires wearing more on the inside?

    • @adventureswiththetoddfather
      @adventureswiththetoddfather  2 роки тому +1

      No I did not get an alignment, there are no change to the tire rod and should not effect alignment. I have been watching it closely however and have not noticed any signs of uneven tie wear. Thank for watching the channel And for commenting

    So the shocks are what hold up the differential?

    How much offset is your axle? Even with 1” of lift, your axle should be slightly shifted to the passenger side.

      I didn’t get any off set measurements before I started. It’s very minimal. I Do wish I had measured that before and after. Thank you.
