Glad to hear you saying that! There are a lot of people nowadays who dismiss any kind of positive thinking because they never got any results from it. I believe that having a positive attitude is not the whole solution, but definitely a crucial element of it!
Just left a job that was paying well but too boring and dead end job. Now I am torn between relaxing for a few months and look for something more fulfilling or jump into another job to continue saving for my retirement....and not drain my savings.
There are other options, e.g. relaxing for a few weeks in total relaxation mode and then spending another few weeks searching. Your option sounds great too as long as it doesn't take too much of a toll on your savings. Hope you find the best path!
Im only getting 15 hours a week now probably 12 a week a regular employee decided to delete my name on our schedule not very professional... anxiety and sick to my stomach to go back but id rather make a days pay then nothing... im sure there's other jobs i can find for atleast a few more hours near by then driving 30 minutes to be told im no longer scheduled
Okay so this does not apply to most. Even with higher living cost you had enough money saved up to live on it for 2-3 years? If I had that right now I would walk out of my current job instantly
Thank you for your transparency, lots of great advice!
Always enjoy your positive attitude about thinking outside the box and that great things like this are possible!!

Most people are not in that position (yet). But with some planning anyone can get themselves there!
How i wish i could too.
Everyone can, but it's not easy
