Two of the kindest classiest ladies in this entire series!!it warmed my heart ❤️ It really made me think of the Verruto/Norton episode. Colleen was was so jealous of chrystal having a good week with her husband and children. She should watch these two and see how a mom SHOULD BE!! Most moms would be absolutely tickled that her kids were with someone who cared and treated them well
Why do people agree to do these shows if they’re going to act like babies and not be open to the experience?? So annoying. They have to know beforehand that they might not get the family they may want.
P Litty I think you need to really try to put yourself in their shoes. I don't think it even has to do with not getting a family you want. It's the fact that they are coming into the complete polar opposite of what they are used to. It would be extremely hard to adjust and you don't really know how you would act until faced with the adversity. I think both moms did well here. There are other episodes where I thought the moms were just being jerks but here I think they both did try. And I think it was a good experience for them and a way to maybe be more grateful for the lifestyle they have or realizing they need to make changes.
A lovely lad when I heard him wish the sales clerk in the shoe shop" Have a nice day " what a ploite well mannered and kind lad he is ,Devan knowing about the cacti flowering and wanting a dog a lovely lad also . I feel we did not get to know the older lad too well as a person .. Both moms were good people I thought ..
"My dad and my mum are like a team" How beautiful. How many kids would say this about their parents 🥰 that's something all parents should aspire to having their children feel.
My daughter always called us the 3 musketeers. When she was in 21 yrs old I overheard her tell her friends that she had a fairy tale childhood. She said the only thing she would want different is she would want her parents to be healthy. I have a rare disease and my husband had a congenital heart defect. I think that was very heartwarming. I carry it with me. I'm blessed to have her. We smothered her with love and attention. Still do. She has 3 children. Being a grandma is really hard for me. I hate when they leave. I get my grandson 4 night a week. That really helps me emotional attachment. ❤ Love the mothers in this show.
Loved Penny and her family. Just because some people may not be conventionally beautiful - doesn't mean they aren't beautiful in other - MORE important ways. Their son was just fabulous

@@georgedavis5450 oh hey thanks for the reply hows your family doing? Do your folks still sell pine nuts and was the dome home ever built? your dad was ahead of the times and your mom truly showed how to love to that other family. your episode was one of my top 2 fave episodes. Whenever someone names an animal i automatically assume that it was a pet.
I can't say how wrong I was with my first impression about Penny. This woman is just awesome! A perfect example of how important empathy is for living a happy life. Thank you for remembering me!
Omg I have know Penny and George since I was about 10 years old and at 30 I'm just now watching this. And the humor brings back so many joyous memories with them. Zeb and my twin brother DJ were best friends. This family is such a light to all they are around. I'm sad that they were portrayed this way but in the end they are such kind souls. I hope that traci found a balance for her controlling and abusive husband. And I hope her boys found that dad's approval was never a need to fulfill their own paths apart from each other.. I'm glad that I grew up with down to earth souls like the Frazier family. Much love! -Kat Gilmour
Jessica Jones I think rich mom def is a good person. I wasn't sure at first but as I thought about it I would be grossed out by all the stuff in the bed as well. It doesn't take money to put a fresh sheet on and make sure there's no debris in it. I think the country family meant well but they just don't think about that stuff. And I would be grossed out by eating Clyde as well however I get their point that they can't waste good meat. I think for experiencing drastically different lifestyles both moms really tried.
I was also sad to hear how hard of a time Penny had growing up. That shaped her into who she is today. It was sweet of Devin to offer to get the dogs and take them for a walk. He was a thoughtful little boy.
It's obvious how she looks and she's been treated a certain way her whole life because of it, but she doesn't give a shit about the fact that she looks different and I respect the HELL out of that.
Oh honey, I'm a bush lady too, but if that was your idea of a getup to use feminine wiles...you've either been in the woods too long or you have to share some of that weed with me lol!
Let's all take a moment of silence for Clyde. He gave unconditional love and nourishment for our bodies and souls. May he rest in peace. ❤ He sure knew how to make a delicious sandwich 😂
I fucking love this woman and i love this episode...sooooo beautiful!! Man! Wow...I too struggle per say with outwardly beauty and even struggle with people calling me ugly...however I am in tuned and the different colors of the Soul! Blessings!
Funny that Ray can't do a simple task asked of him yet he expects his children and wife to do every single thing he demands from them. Narcissist much?
Never have I misjudged two women so much from the offset. One an odd looking weirdo, the other a ditzy airhead. My gosh was I wrong. With Penny’s wisdom and intuitive nature to see people how they really are, and Tracey’s organisational, can-do attitude they sort of complimented each other and met in the middle somewhere.
"I'm the female, I'm considered the weaker of the two." Don't ever say that! If he insists on taking care of you, instead of allowing you to take care of yourself sometimes, then you need to find another man. Yeah, it's nice to take care of your partner, and for your partner to take care of you, but sometimes they need to allow you to take care of yourself, and you need to allow them to take care of themselves.
My husband takes care of me & does lots of stuff& spoils me. Not because I'm the weaker sex, but because he likes to make my life easier. He says "She can do it by her herself, but I don't want her to start wondering why she keeps me around ". Lol!!
I gotta tell you - when Penny was at the gym, when she lent down like that, um yea I wasn't expecting that!! My actual reaction in that moment was, OH WOW!! Hahahahaa, go girl!
I really loved this episode. I must admit, at first I thought Penny was nuts, but she is quite intelligent and very smart. She was smarter than the whole Zandi family. And I love the Love and respect that flowed between two Mothers connecting over the Love of their families. That was beautiful to see.
Yes, Eddie was very much a family member. He was killed in an eagle attack in Homer ALASKA in 2014...Zeb and I were greatly saddened by Eddie's departure from our lives.
@@georgedavis5450 That makes me so sad, my little chihuahua was taken at 16yrs by a hawk it broke my heart not to have his beautiful little body to bury. It was so traumatic i will never get over it. RIP to your beloved Eddie
You start out judging Penny, but by the end of the episode she's the most enlightened creature I've ever seen. So the couple gave each other the go ahead for...marital relations, whatever. Her decisions, her words, they are pure magic by the end of the show. No wonder her kid is the beacon of health, takes failure like a champ with solid self-esteem.
Penny may not fit society's standards of normal, but I thought she was actually very warm & kind... Very intuitive as well. & Devin was such a sweet lil boy I hope Ray lightened up over the years & that their mom put her foot down
@@Ace-ke7fq No it was just the way that she did it. A cheerleader should also not be in a boy's locker room. Sorry, but I barely recall this episode - as it was a month ago when I last saw it. I just recall that although she was a sweet lady, that moment just felt a bit awkward because she was just so enthusiastic and making an effort and the boys were just staring at her. It is like one of those moments when you think that you are doing the right thing and people just stare at you as if you are odd. I have social anxity and the thought of cheering in a crowd just wants me to curl up and disappear. I could never do a thing like enter a locker room and start cheering. Gawd that piano lesson was painful. To first boy: “Oh what a genius! Abusive. Child abuse is forever.
she wanted to get the team excited. She's obviously very comfortable with herself because not many people would be able to do that in a room full of strangers. I think she's a wonderful lady. She's definitely eccentric and if everybody was the same life would be boring.
She's beautiful as she is but she was a unique beauty when she was young and that lucky man got a beautiful woman from the inside out that probably had no idea how gorgeous she was at the time.
Okay I can honestly say the two women on this episode are probably my favorite from the entire series... They legit were trying to help the other family and trying not to be judgmental and I give them huge props for that

@@3littlebirds729 thank you Jo, but alas, it is no more... Zeb and I have gone away from Penny. We now live in Alaska, where Zeb was born. I work in the cannabis industry in Kenai, and Zeb is a commercial fisherman on Homer AK.
Per their blog, they had Clyde for at least 4 years, and did not think he had an issue with going out into the road. They thought it was terrible timing.
When you marry a woman you do so because you love her and her personality - not the idea of being able to mold her into anything you want and desire. It’s very disturbing to me.
Traci I cried when you took their son to get new shoes the way his face lite up made me cry, I bet he has never had a brand new pair of shoes of his own, and the skate park was an amazing touch!

Hi, I'm George. I'm the Frazier dad/country dad. Penny and I divorced several years ago. I ended up back in Alaska with our son, Zeb. Zeb is the pride of my life! A commercial fisherman here...I hear he's a damn good deckhand, too! He wants a boat to captain...he's got the fishing bug pretty bad. he might fish east coast fishery's also. I process cannabis for Red Run cannabis company here in Kenai, Ak. I built the frame for the dome home, but Penny kind of screwed up with local contractors so they wouldn't work for us. We did get another property with some of the money. The money slowed me to transition to full time on farm. Previously I have had to work outside of the farm to make ends meet. And Traci was such a help with telling us "this is business!"! What a sweetie! 🤔Hell, I'd be together with Traci in a second, Ramon is such a dumbass!! He treated her like shit, from what I saw! Anyway, I digress.. I do live in a tiny dome home of my design. Zeb is should be back from fishing this weekend.. life is grand! Come to Alaska and see us!! Lol...

Kathy Germack I think the producers ran him over for a good bit of “entertainment” and drama to add into the episode. Kind of twisted so I hope that’s not the case but it seems like something they’d do for the sake of TV
Never showed him being run over, just some reenactment of something that probably DID happen. Handled well. Not telling her she was eating Clyde, was obviously something the producers controlled, cuz they needed something controversial.
@@deziacosta1709 I guess the problem with roadkill is that when it get squished the dirt from the tires gets into the animal making it super hard to clean properly, whereas was when it's killed in a farm or factory it's a clean kill so the bacteria and dirt don't get in as easily... *RIP CLYDE* it for real made me wanna go back to being vegetarian or even vegan, like, swear to God.

Kerry Dehorney exactly her entirely life seemed to revolve around him. It’s creepy, and just made me feel sad for her. You should love your significant other, but there is love and then there is throwing up because you can’t function away from your significant other.

I really can't stand Ray. The big boy will probably end up like him. Barbie (Tracey) mom comes off as being so weak. Ray is a bully and control freak who lacks child nurturing abilities.
Happy she found her way into their office , I wish she had sooner! You could immediately tell she was more confident and felt in her element helping get their business admin side sorted. I love how appreciative he was too!! She may not have been very helpful with the manual labor but she knew what she was doing admin wise. So cool.
This was seriously one of the best episodes I’ve watched. These two women really went into this whole heartedly and willing to make changes. They really did better each other’s families in their own way.
This was the most wholesome and heartwarming episode of this show I’ve ever seen. I just randomly started watching after bingeing Supernanny and Nanny 911 - pretty natural progression in my mind - and this was just a sweet, sweet episode. Penny is a dear and though Tracey spoke less she was still a kind woman. I’m used to watching explosive arguments on this and on the other similar show, Wife Swap. I think both types make for good Tv.
I spent the whole episode yelling to myself, "Penny! Ask Devon about his interests, his passions!" Funny, he actually asked her about her interests when they were walking the dogs. But still, she didn't ask him. I would have liked to see exploration that way, and possibly an allotment of some of the money for Devon to pursue his passions. He obviously hates hockey and piano, his brother's passions which his father is forcing on him as well. So sad, I really wanted to see Devon open up about what he wanted to do in life, and get that opportunity. Hopefully his mom gets that insight and makes it happen!
Penny like most of us humans was a hottie in her younger years! She’s still got it in her eyes and smile! Most important not an ugly core like most of the couples on this show
The way Penny delivered that assignment was perfect. She complimented the father and then gave the assignment so respectably. He even said he didn't know where that assignment came from!
It's kinda sad how dependant Traci is on her husband, but she really lit up helping with the administrative work for George.Penny may have been out there, but she helped Traci say "no" to her husband on behalf of her younger son, so that's a win/win. I hope she kept it up. Nice turn a round. How cool are Zeb and Devan? Love those kids.
I truly wish society as a whole was like Penny. I struggle with people calling her quirky and odd- everyone should be like that- odd and unique in their own ways! But I do understand people like her are very rare gems today.
The one mom may have been a little "different" by normal standards, but she has an honest and pure heart, and only wants good. Who cares if she is a bit "strange" by normal standards. The other mom was just so judgmental and stand offish about things.... I mean throwing up because she was leaving home?
Not to mention the blonde and her family got mad at the fact they have to help out and volunteer to get the money. Like, you're basically getting paid a large sum of money to do something people do for free! Hell, it even pays better than a minimum wage job for an entire year with less hours you'd need to work! Very ungrateful considering they're lucky enough to get that opportunity despite their family being very well off for themselves already.
Hey if penny the. Pengwin wants to cheat with ray im shuer he'd go for it lol they would make a beautiful coupel lol. She better make. Shuer he's entrusted in her know lol
I think Tracy is awesome! And I think he really appreciates for help. He needed someone to guide him professionally... I think both women were really good people and excellent Mother's
both women are stars . initially i though tracy was a wimp, but she really came into her own organising things and being kind and loving to the family. she deserves a better husband.
WOW! What a powerful ending! Tracy really stood up to the changes she was going to have to make. Penny was so gentle and compassionate. I'm amazed at her ability to get the point across in a way that wd be received and valued by Tracy.
I would like to know if Devin ever found his own niche or passion instead of piano which he obviously felt pressured into doing. I bet he is talented in all kinds of other ways by now that he can be proud of!
Penny is somewhat different, but shes a very sweet hearted and intuitive lady. Would be easy to just focus on her differences and miss the goodness. Wish her and her family love and happiness xx

Zeb is such a cool little dude. Polite and funny, I hope he's having an awesome life. 💞

Alex Kennedy I think so too😍 I think he got it from his mother she seems to have a big heart too for what she did for the other little boy zeb

I agree
Why would you assume she’s a ditzy airhead?
"I'm the female, I'm considered the weaker of the two." Don't ever say that! If he insists on taking care of you, instead of allowing you to take care of yourself sometimes, then you need to find another man. Yeah, it's nice to take care of your partner, and for your partner to take care of you, but sometimes they need to allow you to take care of yourself, and you need to allow them to take care of themselves.

I think Tracy is awesome! And I think he really appreciates for help. He needed someone to guide him professionally... I think both women were really good people and excellent Mother's
Tracy was awesome, and I Soooo much loved her help with the business...
Children are SO precious!!! Can't wait to be a mum...
both women are stars . initially i though tracy was a wimp, but she really came into her own organising things and being kind and loving to the family. she deserves a better husband.
WOW! What a powerful ending! Tracy really stood up to the changes she was going to have to make. Penny was so gentle and compassionate. I'm amazed at her ability to get the point across in a way that wd be received and valued by Tracy.
Both of these women were lovely and very intuitive in their own way!!! I loved this episode!
I would like to know if Devin ever found his own niche or passion instead of piano which he obviously felt pressured into doing. I bet he is talented in all kinds of other ways by now that he can be proud of!
Devin is in jail :/

Penny is somewhat different, but shes a very sweet hearted and intuitive lady. Would be easy to just focus on her differences and miss the goodness. Wish her and her family love and happiness xx
