I just got my Ocarina this morning! Im super excited to learn how to play it. I used to play the violin when i was a kid and am trying to learn the guitar now but i broke my arm when i was a kid so it hurts to play those for too long. I figured id give other instruments a try and always wanted to try this. The 12 note one is next!

I have a Ocarina that is like an hybrid or something it has 7 hole and is shape like the Ocarina from Zelda. Can I use 6 hole pendant tab to translate them to my 7 hole ocarina?
You talking about the Kokiri Edition from Songbird? I have one and I've been playing it since August. For the most part, these tabs definitely apply to that ocarina as well, but there's a bit more range with the 7 hole since it can go all the way down to low A and B as well, which this ocarina of Gina's cannot do.

That's elder abuse.
Tablature is laid out relative to the player's point of view, not the audience's. Confusing when learning from someone else, but very straightforward when you're on your own.
Amazing video! I was wondering if you have a video for people with an 8-hole ocarina? I just got mine yesterday and have been having a hard time finding a video for 8-holes. I've only been able to find videos for either a 12- hole or 6-hole ocarina. This video was still really helpful for me tho!
