Two things I did differently, first is the pulley removal. I used a small bearing splitter and grabbed on that groove at the top of the pulley. Pressing on pulley grooves makes me nervous. Also the retaining clip should have been flipped as the divit holds in the shaft so it can't flip out.

Press hacks: Make a little "key" for the pump release tab and zip tie it to the handle. That way you don't have to keep removing the tubular pump handle to tighten & release. Also, JB Weld a couple of neodymium magnets onto the front of lower part of cross bar so you can stick the tubular pump handle on it for easy access. Plus it will be safer by not sticking out. I have the same press as yours,

I bought my rebuild kit from a seller on eBay. My pumps are the tapered pumps. I tried searching for a rebuild kit recently for another subscriber and I wasn’t able to find one online. I’m sure they are out there. Check with the seller “NJPARTS” on eBay. Find one of their listings and send them a message asking about a 60hp water pump rebuild kit. The part number I used is BB63. The Ford part number is 52-8591.
      I hope this helps
