The way Rhaegal went out in the show really irritates me when you read how hard it is to kill dragons in the books. His neck and torso should not have been that easy to shoot.
They were a hundred meters above the water and somehow they didn’t see a massive fleet with black sails and a golden kraken…. Sure, whatever… Show was ruined when they went on without any source material
Same with Viserion. Magic or no magic, how did the White Walker spear him when he was flying that high and he was throwing it by hand?? And it's made of ice?? If I was going to buy that, I needed some explanations, and they needed to be pretty dang good ones. Since we got none, nope, that's bull.
Well in the first book fire and blood Meraxes I believe it was. Was killed by a single spear to the eye. The arrows used to kill Rhaegal were specifically made to kill dragons. Additionally, Rhaegal was hit in the heart and through an artery. Viserion was hit through his fire glands causing them to explode in the show. We've seen the power of the ice walkers and their weapons in the show .
@@Gharials_Rule Yes but the point is that the eyes are a dragon's only real weak point. The explanation that this was a special arrow designed to pierce dragon scales still doesn't explain how they shot him out of the sky from miles away. Hit him 3 times. But then missed Drogon plenty of times even though he was much closer. Also.. the arrows came from drastically different angles (and cannot be explained by rhaegal moving around). The first 2 are from the front and the third one through the neck is coming way more from the right
Besides, Meraxes was hit with an extremely lucky shot. Not three bullshit times.
It’s really sad we did not and will not get to hear Milly say dracarys just more than once in HOTD. I just love how It naturally rolls off her tongue when she says it.
Like she was born to say it.
Rhaegal's death still hurts my heart - those sounds he makes as he falls from the skies, its horrible - I know it's only a show but damn it tugs those heartstrings at times :(
If only Daenarys wouldn't have been forced to make stupid moves.
It's bittersweet that Daenerys, as the last Targaryen and dragon-rider, had nobody to guide her.

Watching this makes me wish they’d make a spin off of Valeria (with a lot of help/guidance from George R.R Martin ofc, since I’m not sure if or how many books he’s even written on that age/time), it has such mystery to it I can’t help but want to know more and see the variety of dragons that would’ve existed where they were originally created
I'm sure they would love to but they can't. Dragon CGI consumes a lot of money. A 2-minute screentime of 3 dragons would already cost millions

I’d like to see a show based on Sothyros, wherein I believe Drogon had ventured off to. It’s be interesting to see it with Arya taking the lead as her crew finds their way to the unexplored realm. Maybe they find more than ever imagined, new dragons never discovered, new species of beasts and new race of men. It’d be reminiscent I’d imagine to how the Europeans came to the “New World”.

I don't know how many times I have watched this so far but its just incredible, I am thankful to be living in a world of epic fantasy, game of thrones really helped me over the years now House of the Dragon and the book (fire and blood) is just amazing. I love escapism just diving into a incredible world from westoros to middle earth. This is in my like collection which I listen to a lot on the way to and from work. Your other video the Black queen is so good too! I am so thrilled for tonight's season finale. amazing job! Keep up the great work! You should feel proud

You’re so welcome. I always have had a admiration for videography it’s a true art. I’ve learned to build my own computers the past 2 years either windows 10, 11 or Linux mint but it doesn’t compare to the beauty of tribute videos such as this. I’ll now be finishing fire & blood(as I’ve read chapters before the dance of dragons. I’m so excited for 2024 season 2 will be amazing

1:41 This was extremely painful to watch. I don't mourn for their mother I mourn for them all. They all deserved better.
I wish dragons were real. But in all reality, they would need either a lot of food or really big prey, to get to that size. They should show them hunting whales or something. I would believe it more 😂
