As they were just given to me as is (without a box), I totally skipped over the lack of "Japan Spirit" on the tongue. What's AMAZING about this is I genuinely have a difficult time telling the difference between the Elite and the MIJ models, a HUGE props to Mizuno for accomplishing such an incredible boot for 2/3 the cost! Thanks to everyone who is paying ELITE level attention to the details and keeping me in check ;)

Next time you see the Mizuno rep, please ask him if they are doing another Morelia DNA for the 4th generation of the neo. Also, the new dynamic notes as you reviewed the tech/spec on these was a really good addition.
First time I bought a pair of boots and it fit fantastically. Locked in so well, as well as my phantom gx dynamic fit. I bought them so I can pick a boot based on what I'm feeling
You’ll prob never try them but the elite model fit me perfect compared to the MIJ. In same size, MIJ fit about 1/4 too long. The MIJ feel thinner and they got the karvo stiffness. Elites are a tiny bit thicker and don’t have that karvo stiffness. Had to return my MIJ.
@@chidumokpalogu3654 yes but get AG. From my experience.. get AG for AG. You can use AG on grass.. trust. You really notice the difference unless the pitch is super soft like what the pros use.
Haven’t bought the MiJ version but do have the cheaper non MiJ elite version of the Mizuno alpha. Do argue that the alpha be it MIJ or elite version more or less offers a much more comfortable ride what the adidas X-Crazyfast+ can especially when you consider both have similar characteristics.
I'm surprised that there's fitment issues as these boots are the only ones that i didn't need breaking in for my stupidly wide feet. The next closest for me was the Nike CTR360 Maestri 3 which only took 1 practice sesh to break in.

@@NoahCavanaugh I've actually ordered 10 and 10.5 and found 10.5 had too much space above my toes, and a little too much space in the length. Almost feels 'baggy' 10 was perfect for my left foot but my right toe was uncomfortable at the end after wearing for a few minutes. Being 100% synthetic I don't think they'll stretch much so went with the 10.5 to play last night, and they felt sloppy and too long!!!! Can't return them now either, damn :-(
Hey noah, ive been using the neo iv elite for a whole year now and i wanted to get a new pair of mizunos. The morelias i bought were a little bit bigger than expected, so even though i loved them i didnt get the best experience. I have to choose between the alpha elite in a 9.5 us or the neo iv elite in a 9 us. If what i prioritize is comfort and looks, which one would you recommend me? (also the alphas are on sale at 150$ while the morelias are at 200$)
I’m considering wether to get the Alpha elites with AG studs as I want to try conical studs and see how they go as I train on 3G in winter and play for school on ag but my team is on a FG pitch and I have heard they are still fine on that. I play on FG for most of the year tho so I have to choose but I like the concept of the conical studs, or the Neo 4 beta, or Morellia 2s as I am a winger and like speed but I also like a bit of padding when I kick the ball it makes me feel like I can get more power on it before the sting. And I had speedportals which I liked but they ripped and got mercurials Vapor (Sky blue and purple) and like them more than the speedportals so idk which boot to get as I want to try Mizunos but I may have to get 1 pair of all 3 then try them to see which ones I want. (Btw all of these are in the ELITE model)

Hi Noah , love the gx2 upper but can’t get on board with the sole plate and I play on very firm ground but train on so would need a hybrid boot, what boot has the most similar upper to the gx2 (other then gx1)
Do you think if you added a fairly thin insole to it the fit and feel would be messed up or could you get away with it? I use an extra insole for cushioning bc i train a lot on ag pitch so i wanted to know your opinion on it
4:50 no karvo in the Elite. However, i _think_ the Elite has a nylon half-board to improve springback, which the Morelias also have. Unless the nylon half-board is actually branded as "Karvo *RS"* now? I dont know what that 'RS' denotes.
Are the ag version runs also true to size ? I want to order them but I don’t know in which size. I wear also personalized insoles for my flat feet if that makes any difference.

They're WILDLY different mate, two completely different feels. I would go with whichever boot actually FITS you the best 🤝 I prefer the Predator, but that's for my feet

@@npc2k I’ve thought about it and honestly I need comfort and durability more, and the mizunos are much better for this. Not only that the soleplate for the AG on the alpha elite is the best on the market for AG surfaces. With mercurial sure I feel perhaps that little bit faster when running but it’s a very very thin material and I’d rather the comfort.
Hey I got these in white/pink/blue colorway and after using it consistently for 3 months the Mizuno logo design on the sides of my pair is starting to fade away and I was wondering if that's an issue only on my pair or is that issue common with Mizuno alphas

Why not consider stepping in some warm water with your boots on. It can possibly help with your hit stop in these boots.
I don't do the hot water trick very often because it jeopardizes the robustness of the glue!

I have the same problem with the elite version of the alpha but the discomfort disappears when playing in wet conditions.

I like my boots tight and wear 8 UK in Nike and Adidas. I went to 7.5 for the Alpha Elite MIJ AG and it seems ok.

the pros are definitely less quality materials and fit than the elite mate, as it's Mizuno's 3rd tier

VERY little difference mate, outside of a few "nice to haves" in the MIJ model. I'd just go for the Elite model!
