Since 1779 after conquering Sikkim Dorje-ling by the Gorkhas they established Gorkha Station where the first 2 British Officers stayed for a week while determining on whose side the Antu Hill belonged. Then on their recommendation the Britsh leased the Observatory area in 1835 from Sikkim and started planning tea bushes as well as establishing Sanitorium. Then in 1860 the British took the surrounding hills and Siliguri Tarai by a short squirmishes with Sikkim. Then the British having learned that Kalimpong Dooars region were also taken from Sikkim by Bhutan in 1707 they attacked Bhutan in 1865 and retaken the region. Now since Sikkim has become the 22nd State of India in 1975 the Indian Central Government should and must REUNIFY the Darjeeling Dooars with Sikkim to give the Gorkhas identity and dignity of Indian Gorkhas in their own State. That the Central Government can do and the Bangalis cannot object because Bangal has encroached the area by unfair trick of creating ABSORBED ACT. in 1954/55.

Shoutout to Native Lepcha of the place, also original settler Bhutia, the Limbus of eastern side of sikkim, and also all the nepali who, altho the brains of British, but with their blood, swear and tears made Darjeeling what it is today.
