In general, it is legal to pay for the opportunity to get on playlists. It is not allowed to directly pay playist curators to be put on their playlist. He twists it and you dont know what playlist you get on specificly, but they will be right for your genre. When you pay curators directly it can be not neccessarily tracked and you can get away with it, but there is a greater chance to get on bot playlists that fuck up your stats and gets you shadowbanned from the algorithm. He said he checks their playlists to see that they are legit tho.

I've worked with Spotify promotion companies that help you get streams but it doesn't translate into real fans. They're just kind of like one time listeners.. I'm looking for a company that can help promote music for a true fanbase.

Tried my first campaign and they surprised on the upside with robust playlists. Good streams, decent save rate, no real additional followers.

ya there can be lots of scams out there but there is still lots of good. you just have to find the good ones.
