Happy Easter everyone 😌❤️
There was this special helmet in World that made monsters not attack you if you don't draw your weapon, right? Now hear me out:
What if it was a fedora, that only appears when the Player has their weapons drawn?
Oh no I hate what you did there -._-.
@@bussy-slayer 😏
But if there platipuss that would there mammals not reptilian
Jesus loves you~
The community must've inhaled too many of the Rotten Vale's fumes to have come up with that.
It was... wild LMAO
@@SkojSkullno way the whole community foreshadowed the title of the first game of 6th Gen and they did in the Wildest way lol
High on effluvian. Effluvian. Not even once.
It smells like my nightmares
Yeah thats true.
Wyvernians: "Look 95% human,5% lizard"
The whole degenerate internet: "They OBVIOUSLY lay egg!"
I mean is not really a bad question
Well hey platypuses look 95% like a rodent and 5% like a duck and yet they still lay eggs.
@@foxmask8032 They have a huge beak and honnestly remind me more of an otter mixed with a duck than an rodent but regardless...i wouls say they look more like 20-25% like a duck while the wyvernian barely have anything remotely looking like they are lizard beside weird foots.
@@George_Gogo01 I was thinking about beavers, but otters work too. Also, you're gonna have to point me towards the humans that have long pointy ears and only four fingers.
Edit: Also their eyes glow in the dark. But that might just be the two of them in particular.

the one's who got the idea were the ones who have an egg laying wyverian fetish and want to see hinoa/minoto lay some eggs. change my mind.
I mean you're not wrong... But that doesn't mean I like the fact that you're right...
@@foxmask8032 This brings in mind another question: Do Hinoa and Minoto have cloacas? (I'll see myself out)
Based
i mean who wouldn't wanna see that?
stop kink shaming
To be fair, animals that hatch from eggs also have an umbilical cord, it's just linked to the vitellus, a nutrient reserve in the egg, not to the mother. So even oviparous animals can potentially have a bellybutton if their integuments allows it.
It just wouldn't be as pronounced as it is with mammalian creatures but it theoretically could exist.
@@andrewowens4421 If I remember correctly, we do have the fossil of Psittacosaurus showing a little scar where an umbilical cord was attached before hatching, it's indeed faint, but it's there, and it's a dinosaur covered in scales (minus the quills on its tail, of course), so a smoth-skinned Wyverian could possibly have one as well.
Hinoa and Minoto making me act unwise
Pretty sure the human features out way the wyvern ones. Probably a situation similar to humans and elves. No one questions if it would be possible for them to breed they assume it’s really cause of how similar they are. I assume it’s the same with wyverians
I've seen concept art for a Wyverian character from Monster Hunter Stories 2 that had a bellybutton.
Smash, You can't change my Mind
Damn If they were reptiles, I would've sniffed what remains of Hinoa and minotos shed skin
“Laying an egg” is an expression for failing something and embarrassing yourself. She’s not literally admitting to laying eggs.
"B-But I can't paint! And I definitely can't paint in front of people! I'd LAY AN EGG!!" --- Minoto, Hub Maiden of Kamura Village after the Fierce flame of Kamura saved the kingdom.
Just so you know, reptiles also have bellybuttons. That's where the yolk connects with the embryo in the egg. These bellybuttons just tend to get covered by scales or are lost through shedding.
And milk is just a substitute to not fully developed children being born. Which can also happen with egg laying animals such as birds. And some birds produce milk too.
Meh it just means they only have one hole to destroy instead of two down there
????????????
What the fuck
"What if we used 100% of the brain?"
@@oksobasically3278They're talking about cloacas. It's basically a multipurpose hole.
in monster hunter world the rathalos has a egg nest that you can take from at the top part of the ancient forest
i did not notice it said wyverians and not wyverns
For all we know, a Wyverian may lay eggs, but it's all rubbery like a snake egg, and when the baby grows big enough, it shreds it's way out of the egg. Just pitching a biology thing and see if it hits.
I think it's like chameleons, they lay eggs that immediately harch
🤣🤣🤣🤣 i knew nothin about this but i laughed way too loud at your edit
I want a game where you can choose to hunt as either a human or wyvernian
there's only one way to find out for sure...

It's hard to say, cuz apparently duramboros rear live offspring too despite being very much saurian looking.

I don't know what game this is, but I'll give my 2 cents.
If they have an opening large enough to pop out an egg, it's large enough to take one in
a year later and the answer is still not clear at all.
Wyvernians lay eggs or not?
Only one way to find out.
But a platypus doesn't lay eggs..
The fact that this **ahem** issue reached my feed and my hand is kinda aching to do some.... Visualization.
They obviously do, wyverns ley eggs and they are descendant of wyverns so they too lay eggs, probably not as bug tho. And for those that want to say that they look like mammals (thanks twins), some mammals also lay eggs so that's not proof
Humans lay eggs.
i see
i think wyverians are fanged beast so if arzuros lay eggs so do wyverians.

From a biological standpoint, if they look human ore is possibly humanoid, there's a high possibility that it's a mammal, but hell, the MH vers is weird
from a biological standpoint, as convergent evolution is a thing, there is an equally high possibility that they are reptiles.
Some mammals still lay eggs
@@chaledy8998 that's not the real issue tho it's between "mammal that lay egg" or "reptile with mammary gland"
@@limaliw3508 it can’t be a reptile with mammary glands because that's what a mammal is, if it has mammary glands it's a mammal. The question is between them being a mammal that gives birth or that lays eggs (or maybe they're ovoviviparous, or are repriles and their breasts are just evolutionary convergence and are just lumps of fat with no other use). As a biology student, it's fun to speculate
Its an alternate world, its not ours its just how things evolved to be less seperated.
Alright, so it appears MHST2 isn’t acknowledged here, but… the chief from Hakolo Island is a wyverian from what I know of, and guess what, he’s showing his belly, and yes… HE HAS A BELLY BUTTON (barely seeable but he has one)
So we're Good? No unnatural and disturbing egg laying from the hot women? Hell yeah!
It's possible for animals born from eggs to have a belly button, the umbilical cord still exists, just inside the egg

My theory: the wyverians would definitely be on the monotreme clade and judging on their feet their ancestors must resemble a “lizard dog foot, hominid with pointy ears”. And they convergently evolved into a human like beings during their version of the ice age.
That way they shouldn't have breasts, or separate reproductive organs either

Given that all animals of this world descended from wyverns it makes sense. Btw humans in this world are of alien descend lorewise (basically isekai)
The original bard, wielder of the hunting horn. Man created the entire human population out of horniness.
Well, Fanged Beasts are genuine mammals
It's just that they may or may not be the mammalian lineage that gave rise to humanity on the planet
But can humans breed with them?
Asking THE question here xD
Apparently humans are alien to this world and come from somebody that likely got isekaied or something. So likely not. But the only way to know is to try?
"Looks human enough."
Perhaps. But if they're more reptilian than mammal, the reproductive organs would probably not match a human's well.. you' know.
Does this mean they also have venomous spurs?
Maybe lol
Possibly as a defense mechanism.
"which makes Wyverians a platypus!" Is the best out of context thing you can say in any conversation about mhr
What about a hybrid between human and wyverian? Is there any records of a hybrid?
I'm not sure tbh 😅
@@SkojSkull it is like the dunedain. Might make a story of that one day.
Probably if a human and a wyverian copulates, their children will either be a human or a wyverian, but no hybrids.
@@keroro407 probably, I myself did make some concept art awhile back. Oh, and long life like a wyverian but age slow like a human. Just like a Dunedain from LOTR.
@@keroro407 i don't think you understand just how long wyverian lives are. Any wyverian woman you date would've been old enough to know you're grandfather as a baby, and they would have looked the same!

@@SkojSkull yes
If Wyverians are platypus's, why aren;t they teal?
Wyverians look majorly human so no. If they did they’d look more lizard like. It’s like with Argonians. They look like lizards, therefore they lay eggs.
I like to think that human in the past, past as in those who constructed the tower in which we can find kushala shell, fight lunastra and white Fatalis in mhfu, and potentially create equal dragon weapon, create dragon and wyvern just because they can, until some think of other stuff they can do with it, and make wyvern in the body of a human

Why not Show only the berserk Manga instead of having it be a background aesthetic i bet the algorithmn would have liked it
So what if a reptilian evolve with mammary glands? What if it's like the same as Camel's humps?
I have so much hypothetical theory and questions
Eh it's a valid question. Wyverians aren't of mammalian ancestry but of wyvern. So the possibility of them laying eggs is there.
I mean, if they *do* like eggs, then realistically, it'd probably be the same experience as childbirth. The kid just hatches later, and the egg comes out sooner. But yeah, definitely some degen art of that exists, which, eh, I aint gonna judge, just keep it to yourself and your friends like you.
Well, dogs(Palamutes) come from eggs, so what says a Wyvernian can't?
The Monster Hunter crew (or at least the translators) are very aware of the memes and silly things in the community. It really wouldn't surprise me if they wrote that line to fuck with people.
Ok question then can they marry human/hunters (i.e. the player character) and if they do can they have children
Aren’t Wyverians descendants of Wyverns? It could be possible, or they give live birth as some reptiles are known to do
