I have a Nantucket basket with signature and penny placed for date. How would I go about selling it if I wanted? We have an antique booth at a local shop but it's not along the lines of what we sell .

I can help, but will need to see your basket. It could be marked but you might be overlooking it. Experts don’t rely solely on marks and signatures. There are many reasons why a piece might not be signed. Can you send photos?

I have just acquired a basket with a penny dated 2000. I did a little research and it seems that started with William Severns but i cant find out anything more. Any ideas please Dr Lori?
