Little Rock, AR here - thanks so much for your lessons! The way you break things down is so cool. Slow then speed things up makes it so easy to rewind and review. In addition, your passion is not only apparent in your playing but your face as well (you never look bored). Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I always played this tune on the A/G/F on the 3rd. So much more feel this way with the hybrid picking, it involves a little more work but it's worth it to capture the heart of the song, thank you Angela!
Watching from Bar Harbor, Maine. Favorite guitar is a tough call; I have more Gibsons than Fenders, but a Fender Partscaster Strat I assembled just fits me like a glove and sounds great. Thanks for the lesson!
Great tune for playing with your looper. Historically a Strat guy, right now I’m bouncing between an Explorer and a Gretch. Never been a one guitar guy. To many types of guitar music. Cheers from Idaho.
Billings, Montana. I’m a huge Petty fan. I play mostly Fenders. I have a strat wired up like David Gilmour, a hot Texas tele, and a Jazzmaster that I gutted and put in P90’s. I probably play the strat the most.
Another amazing lesson. Tuning in from WYO; and you can't have one favorite guitar the others would get jealous. For this song, my favorite guitar will be my PRS McCarty 594, coupled with my 1964 Princeton.
Hey Angela, I've been playing & singing since 1982. I am 62 and you are the first person to teach me how to play some lead on a guitar. Your teaching method is second to none! Thank you very much! Awesome! I love Tom Petty & Mike Campbell's guitar work!
Victoria BC, Canada. Epiphone Les Paul Standard is what I have. I have a few acoustic guitars which I play most often. A Gibson J-15, a Yamaha fgx5 and a Martin J16 E 12 string. My guitar collection far exceeds my ability. I’m hopeful you can up my playing with your excellent videos. 🎸
Greetings from Nova Scotia, Canada! I'm jealous that you can do the thumb thing, that looks so handy. Unfortunately my hand doesn't seem to be big enough :-)
What an amazing fantastic talented musician but can you put the chords on the screen please of your videos amazing beautiful talented musician thank you 🌹🙏

Thanks so much Angela.
Also, I'm here at Long Island, New York and I'm playing a TV Yellow Strat w/ 3 single coils similar to yours. Strats have such a wonderful clean tone.

Once again proving a guitar intro can be the biggest hook in the song. Beautiful

Amarillo Texas and a PRS Hollowbody II
It’s a fender guitar but which one?
What effects are you using? As they add a lot to the feel of the tune.
Nothing! Straight into the amp!
Sounds like a lot of reverb? Great lesson, love your teaching style. I'll be using my white Fender Strat on this one. From Carlyle Illinois.
I got the same Dark Side of the Mule shirt. Great Show, did you go ?!
Def a les Paul an I'm from south west Mo
Is that a "Dark Side Of A Mule" tee your sporting? Makes me think... how bout a "Soulshine" lesson? That sounds fun! As always thank you!
