Very nice video, it's like time travelling to the past seeing the old ATSF gantry signals. I wish the old Wabash line wasn't abandoned, but then we would not have the lookout building, so it is what it is I suppose
great video!! Thanks to you ,I have got an idea of what one of the US famous train station is like. Many people around the world follow live the arrivals and departs of this station. Thank you for your dedicated video.
From what was gathered by a family member, some heads rolled because of it. Now, I'm modeling it in n-scale as a "proto-freelance/what-if" the line was still open in 2015/2016. If interested, check out my Facebook Page called "Norfolk Southern Kirksville Dist."
Super cool trainpixsnet; nice pov's and narration. You provided a brief chronicle of a quiet midwestern farming community and its fortune and dependence on the rail system.

Same, it sounds so much more harmonious than the 3rd gen's
Sucks that the Wabash line is gone. I wish they would’ve kept it.

How long has amtrak been using this railway
Emb Whitton Amtrak has served this line since May 1, 1971. Before that date it was served by the ATSF premier trains.
An effort to show the curves…about time.
It's pronounced La Pla Ta and your camera is out of focus.
